What's the best grocery bargain you've got lately?

Last week, my bill was $128 before store specials/coupons and $54 after, so I did pretty well and even bought couple high-end things (pork tenderloin -- got two of 'em though, since they were BOGOF). The very best bargain, though, was two bags of Hometown gourmet coffee for absolutely nothing! The store was doing BOGOF and I had a coupon that was BOGOF.

eggs went down to .89 a dozen so I was glad to see that. We also had a new walgreens open down the street and milk is $1.99 a gallon so that nice. I think my best bargain this week was pepsi for $3.89 /24 pack.

Buy One Get one Free salad dressing. Item on sale for $2.99, had 2 $1.00 coupons and they said it was okay to use both, so 2 big salad dressings for a total of $1.07.

I was so excited a couple of weeks ago! Corn Chex (regularly $3.89 a box) were on sale 3 for $5!! I couldn't believe my eyes! Let's just say, I have enough cereal to last me quite a while!

I'm going shopping today. I'm out of everything, so I hope to get some good bargains. I'm not a big coupon person, I buy alot of store brands. Wish me luck. It's going to take 2 carts!

There's a wholesale meat market not too far away from me. While I am not fond of their meats, they get a lot of great bargains on snacks. I have gotten a CASE of Dannon yogurt for $2.00, a case of the cans of Carnation Instant Breakfast for $1.00, a case of the XXL bags of the Elmo fruit snacks for $2.00 all within the last week. Going back there this morning to see what else I can find!! Seeing how the kids never STOP eatting anymore, it's nice to find a bargain!

This week Shaw's had a case of 24 oz. Poland Spring water for $3.99! Going back to get more soon.

We have a place called Shop Rite, and the whole place is filled with bargains. You buy bags for nine cents a piece, and bag your own stuff. I always spend half as much there, as I would at a normal grocery.

My bargain days are gone, since our store stopped doubling $1.oo coupons last month. Now its only up to 99 cents. But I am on their frequent shopper list and they send out cpsn. to customers at times. Just used one for a free 64 oz. lemonade. Anything helps with the 3 ds. They eat us out of house and home.

Was for a Kodak disposable Camera. My store had the HG(800) on sale for 6.99. Coupon in Sunday before last paper had a coupon for 2.00 off, so my final cost was 4.99!

99 cent gallon of milk and 9 cent a lb bananas at HEB.

Wow, great milk prices! The milk at our Walmart has been $3.69 a gallon.

I don't coupon, but I guess my best bargains recently was:

sirloin tip roast $1.99/lb and they ground it up for me for free, it's hard to find ground sirloin for that price.

Winn Dixie a few weeks ago had BOGOF on 2.5 lb bags of boneless, skinless chicken breast. Total was $7.99 for 5 lbs of chicken-around $1.60 a lb.
