what's something you owned growing up you would never own today?

Cable TV, a gas powered car, a checking account at a brick and mortar bank....

You have Cable TV? Seriously?
Yes. Only way to watch some of the local sports easily.
And I like to sit down and have all my current shows on my PVR rather than peck and hunt across streaming services.
Also have Netflix, Crave, Prime and Disney.

The $100 a month ain’t breaking the bank so why not.

Besides my Roku tv can’t get some apps like CBC gem and too much of a pain to hook up computer to watch it that way. So watch it on PVR instead.

White out. Although I see it is still being made and sold.
Really a tough question because I can see me owning almost everything else post by others.

Rabbits, I had some for a while and discovered that I do not like rabbits. At least the ones I had were NOT sweet, and NOT affectionate. I gave them to my cousin, she lived on a farm and pretty much collected animals (still does for that matter).

A little red transistor radio. I loved it and took it everywhere. It was at the beginning of The Beatles era.
