What's so bad about the food at Blue Lagoon?

A lot of people are saying the food is not good on this excursion. What do they serve? Is Sea Garden Grill a restaurant? Are there choices?

The food is below dog food, IMO. There is no "restaurant" per say, they set up a makes shift buffet and there is a choice of hotdogs and BBQ chicken, with rice and beans and frehcn fries. That's the effect of the lunch they give you. The food was so bad, I wouldn't even give to a dog!! The drink included is econo-buy punch, which if you want, they'll pour rum into for $1. There are no other dining options that I saw of, and this excursion is such a waste of money IMO.

Yeah, the food is not tops, but we didn't go on this excursion for the food. We went for the beach.

I loved the lagoon -- it is a nice inlet that only reaches about 4-5 feet in the center. No waves, very gentle and if you bring a mask, you will see some pretty little fish.

The water temp was perfect and we spent hours just floating in the lagoon. The salt concentration is quite high and it was easy to float. We love Blue Lagoon.
