Hello. Although my stay isn't until mid-September, not much seems to be available around the Yacht Club (Yes, I know Beach Club and BWI will be closed)..... My hubby will not be doing parks (I am an AP).....so wondering where to go at night for dinner. I've got two ressies down at Disney Springs, and a ressie at Kona and the Cafe at GF. Any thoughts? I absolutely LOVE the outdoor bar/restaurant at Wilderness Lodge, but not sure if that is open? I know alot can change between now and September, just looking for thoughts. Thanks so much!!

geyser point at WL is open now! We plan on eating there while staying at WL in Sept! I also am watching whats open and closed for options on dining.

The Boardwalk has Trattoria Al Forno, pizza window, Abracadabar, and the bakery open. (Indoor seating for Trattoria and the bar, some outdoor seating scattered around boardwalk for pizza or bakery.)

Just a warning, Kona seating is less than 6ft apart if you're on the bench seating.

We really enjoyed the Wave at the contemporary.

Thanks for the updates everyone. Would love Geyser Point, but alas, without a WL reservation, not sure if that is possible, although as we get closer, I certainly will call and try. Would love to swap out Kona for Geyser (thanks for the update on the seating at Kona....and their reduced menu doesn't seem quite appealing....we are diehard Ohana people, sigh...)

I've heard the same and unfortunately developed the same conclusions around Disney Springs. I believe the Swan and Dolphin restaurants (walking distance from Boardwalk) are starting to open up. Saw in another thread that Il Mulino (Italian) and Kimonos (sushi) are open. I've not tried Kimonos (have heard good things). I've really enjoyed Il Mulino. More could open by the time of your trip. In general, I think really great options at Swan and Dolphin and love walking to/from.

The Swan is open. By mid September, the soccer teams will be gone, so the Dolphin may be open also. Hopefully, that will be accompanied by Shula's opening.

If you do the Mobile order at Geyser, they will let you in to eat from what I have seen reported

OH...I'd love to do a mobile order at Riviera (their fast food area). I looked at their menu last January and it looked really good. So I might switch out a couple for the Rivieira and Geyser. I'll make some phone calls before I head down and cancel my dining TS reservations.

Check the menus again if you haven't since January--menus everywhere on property have been significantly pared back. Just don't want you to cancel your TS and be disappointed.

Another option would be Topolino's at the Rivera. You could take the Skyliner there and they have an outdoor lounge on the rooftop. Since the restaurant is open, I presume the lounge is as well.

We just ate at Trattoria over at Boardwalk this past week and it was delicious. Service was slow (as we found at most restaurants) but great distancing of tables.

we have Trattoria and a few other indoor places for our trip, but I'm starting to think we should only do outdoor.

I assume they wont let you eat outside at Trattoria, is that correct?

We ate breakfast there twice last week because it was so good! Service wasn't slow at all but if you had dinner maybe that was the difference. I agree the table distancing was great.

We ate inside Trattoria both times; there are tables outside but I do not believe they are for Trattoria guests, more BW Bakery/pizza window guests. However like we said above the tables inside are spaced really well as far as how they're seating and we felt very comfortable there and at all the other restaurants we ate at although of course that's up to every individual :)

Has anyone been to Abracadabar recently? Wondering how it is working since it is so small. Is it hard to find a table? Or only to go?

When we are dinner there on Monday of last week they were serving tables outside. Not sure if it applies for all meals but they definitely did for dinner because the servers kept walking in and out.

We went last week, the few tables they had seemed full. We walked right to this bar area and got a drink to go.
