I know my daughter won't eat the dinner at Ohana's, what is on the alternative children's menu?

I believe it is a buffet, there arent any menus. The kids usually have a choice on the buffet of chicken fingers, mac and cheese, or pizza.

It's not a buffet - it's family style which means they bring out the food to your table (but it is all you can eat). Go to allearsnet.com and look under dining then menus then the Polynesian to find the 'Ohana menu. I believe you can order then children's meals like chicken fingers, macaroni and cheese, etc. They may have to get it from another restaurant but they will bring it to you. Last year figuring my son wouldn't like the regular mene at 'Ohana at the age of 2 1/2 we got him something to eat from Captain Cook's downstairs beforehand and them to keep him busy once we got to 'Ohana, we immediately ordered him the bucket of hawaiian rainbow shaved ice (it comes in a beach bucket with a little plastic shovel) he loved it and it kept him busy enough while we started our dinner. When we ordered the shaved ice our waiter (who was a little lacking in the personality department) stated "But that's a dessert!" Yes, I know I told him, but he's already eaten dinner. I felt like saying look I'm the parent, don't argue I know what I'm doing. At anyrate, have fun and good luck!

Ohana does not have a childrens menu, but they will offer you alternatives if need be. If they dont offer, just ask your waiter. In the past we have been offered grilled cheese, mac & cheese, hot dogs, hamburgers, and chicken fingers....all which come with fries. They get the food from the Kona Cafe.

The kids are allowed to order off Kona Cafe kids menu if they are not interested in the food that is served at 'Ohana.

When I asked to order something from Kona after reading it here they acted like I was nuts. They said the kids food was made at Ohana, they had mac & cheese, hot dogs, hamburgers and I think chicken fingers.

If you do order off the childrens menu make sure you don't get charged for the Ohana meal. The childrens price at Ohana (if I remember correctly) is around $12. If you order from the childrens menu the price(again if I remember correctly) is around $5.

This happened to us the last time we were there. The waiter kind of got us confused over the price. He talked real fast and said it's all included or something. One of my kids ordered off the childrens menu but we got charged as if he ate the regular meal. We didn't realize it until the next day. Give your check a once over before you pay.
