My family is going to WDW in early July for 8 day and 7 nights. Our family is parents and two daughters 12 and 14. This is their first trip to Florida and last on our dime. We have 4 days after we leave the park to sight-see. I would like them to see the sea turtles at night, go for a ride on an airboat, hang out at the beach and maybe some other animal cruise or park. No sea world or bush gardens, some thing more laid back. My husband and I have gone to Kennedy Space Center years ago but I don't think my girls would be interested in it for long. Ideally we would stay at a hotel and do side trips from there. We will be flying out of Orlando airport so don't want to wander more than 3 hours away. I would love to hear about some things that other families have found and enjoyed. I appreciate any suggestion for cities to look into, sights to see and even favorite places to say. Thank you
