What's new with Harry Potter?

Last I saw Order of the Phoenix was to be released next year, and possibly book 7. Someone said there was an issue with one of the actors - did anyone hear anything?

One is set to be released in July - I saw the trailer a few nights ago when it was on Yahoo's webpage. Looks great!

Haven't kept up on the rumors of which actors are doing what, or even when book 7 is due out, other than a vague hope of 07/07/07 for the book or possibly 07/31/07 (as July 31 is Harry and JK's birthday).

Yeah, I heard 7/07/07 for the book, and saw a movie poster for the movie that said 7/13/07. I can't wait for either!!

Today I watched GOF. I never get tired of the other HP movies. They are all wonderful!

That is terrible! I thought when they were first casting for SS that the actors pretty much promised to do all 7.

That's a shame. If most, if not all, the main characters (including the adults) will be in all seven, it would be a shame for her to be the one hold out. I wonder what her issues are.

I think she might be afraid of being type cast and those kids have pretty much devoted the last years to being in Harry Potter movies.

From what I have read, Emma Watson may not do HBP either. I assume she may be holding out for more cash. It does sound like Daniel Radcliffe and Rupert Grint are on for both of the remaining movies. HBP should make a great movie, and I think OotP will too. I watched the OotP teaser trailer MANY times, thanks to HPANA.

If that's her real reason, I think it's unfounded. Considering the fast pace these movies are being put out, I don't think there is any chance of her being type cast. Even if she does them all, how old will she be? Around 18 or 19? Hardly the age to be forced to retire from being type cast.

You know the saying 'don't look a gift horse in the mouth'? I think it applies here--Emma is crazy not to continue.

Thats high falutin of her. Especially because of the three, she is by far the least talented.

No doubt! and by far the worst casting. Unlike every other character, I have never been able to connect Hermone with Emma. I would bet any director would love to re-cast that role for the final movie just for the "getting it right" aspect.

I have always liked this theory as well, but in order to make this date, she would have to have it finished in the next 6 to 8 weeks I would think. I wouldn't be surprised if we have a title before the end of the year.
