Plezzz tell me what it is like to have an IV stuck in your arm for surgery.. I have no idea what it is like when i have to get surgery on the 16th.

It won't be to bad, i never had it done, but its just like another needle like they do for drawing blood. Relax, I'm sure you'll do just fine.

they useally give you a topical anesthetic so you wont even feel the needle....then they give you a "cocktail" that makes you super relaxed...then you count back from 100....sweet dreams

its almost fun....ur doctors will be real nice I'm sure...

I've had 9 of my teeth pulled, so i do know what its like. The surgeon said it would only feel like mosquito bite, but it just feels like a pinch. They tape it to your skin and they go to work. There might be a lot of blood at the end so don't get nausious!

When I had it done the last time I couldn't feel the IV at all. The doctors were really nice. Don't worry, you'll do fine.

When I had my wisdom teeth taken out (at 32 YIKES) they gave me laughing gas (I think the technical name is nitrus oxide) first. Makes you really relaxed so you don't even care that they're sticking you with a needle. Maybe an option?

I had sugury in october
Having and iv isnt tooo bad if you dont have a weak stomach
If you dont think about it then its not too bad,
