What's in your kids bag?

Getting ready to pack the kids park bags. Except that they are practically empty. DSS won't wear sunglasses so he will have a hat. He doesn't take pictures so I'm not bothering with a camera for him. He claims he is doing autographs but we know he won't really (he didn't 3 years ago because he was 'too big'). Which leaves....nothing for his bag. DSD chose a visor instead of sunglasses this year. She will get autographs on the visor so she will need a Sharpie. She is also taking pictures for a project she is working on. I feel evil though making her wear a fanny pack for a camera and a marker. So help me add to the bags or tell me that I should come up with plan B for DSDs camera (DH and I are hoping not to carry bags either so our cameras will be in our pockets. Non important stuff will stay in a bag in the stroller).

my kids wear lanyards and everything else is in a bag that either dh and I might carry 9usually dh because I just refuse)

The kids use our camera, we put on sunscreen before we leave, they won't wear glasses or hats, ahh we usually also carry a glass/bottle for drinks but they have lanyard/belt attachments for that as well

The less the better Mine usually "acquire" things as they go.
I always make sure they have some money in their bags, in case we would get separated and they needed to wait somewhere they could get a drink/snack and now my DD has her cell phone and the the next time we will probably bring a prepaid one for DS so all I would add would be money and communication devices.

PS oh and a kleenex! that's a hold over from my youth. My Mom always asked as we were going out the door if we had a kleenex no matter how old we got.

My DD (7) wears a Nemo fanny pack we got from the parks years ago. In it are her autograph book and pen, Disney gummy treats (we stock up during the year when on sale), the map and show schedule she picks up at each park (yes, former parks have to come too unless I can sneak them out), and Mickey confetti. ::sigh:: Leaves, feathers, flower petals, and such all join throughout the day.

Oh yes, and a small hand sanitizer that fastens onto the fanny pack itself is a MUST! (see note about leaves, flowers...LOL)

When I took my cousins they wore a fanny pack with a bottle holder and carried snacks, autograph pen, sunglasses, money for pressed pennies in a film container inside the fanny pack. They also wore their hats.

Nothing!! DD is 9 and she and I carry NOTHING to the parks. Uh huh, we live dangerously.

Hubby's pockets...that's another story. Hand sanitizer, camera, maybe a couple of tissues and park passes (he carries them so he run for fast passes while we dawdle, go the bathroom, order food head to another ride..we walk slow). A recent addition is an autograph book for character meals but we sometimes leave this in the car if we know we will be driving to another park or resort for dinner. Eeven this book manages to get into DH's pocket!

DD has her own camera but we like to travel light and so we share one at Disney. We have never feel like we need to carry anymore and we have been to Disney 7 times. When DD9 was smaller and we still had the stroller we carried juice boxes and snacks, sweaters etc. Now that DD is older we find this works for us. We are park commandos and hit the parks early and stay for the late magic nights. If someone needs a snack or a drink we use a snack credit. But we find we are all more comfortable without being burdened by a bunch of stuff.

I did forget one thing though..DD (or sometimes myself) does carry Pal Mickey around her neck!
