What's in the Pineapple Salsa at Capt. Cook's?

I'm looking at the menu online for Capt. Cook's at the Polynesian, and I'm seeing pineapple salsa with the nachos and chicken sandwich. Has anyone had these lately and can tell me what's in the salsa? Is it pineapple and peppers or what?

I haven't had this meal, but from a quick google I found this and it may be what you're referring to:

"The chicken portion is pretty large and seasoned with black pepper, but the real flavor comes from the pineapple sambal! The sambal is a relish-like mixture of pineapple chunks and red chiles with a sweet and spicy flavor. As with most spice at Disney World, it’s pretty mild and safe for the spice-averse in your family!" http://www.disneyfoodblog.com/2016/...n-cooks-in-disneys-polynesian-village-resort/

Thanks for the link. I think the sambal is a different thing than the salsa. Maybe it's similar, though.

It has pineapple, red onion and tomatoes. Definitely more tangy than spicy. The nachos are a fave for my family, and we make it a point to hit Capt Cooks for them at least once a trip.

We had the nachos just this last trip!!! Can't believe we've gone all this time not knowing this tasty dish!!! Salsa and pulled pork beyond delicious!!

Yesterday was our last day at WDW so we went to the Polynesian to have the nachos and 2 hours later both my husband and I were very ill. I'm guessing it was the spicy mayo that was bad but it has been miserable ever since. We have NEVER gotten sick eating at Disney and we were having the best day and it's just been so miserable. It had to be the nachos cause it's the only thing we had all day. We wanted to book a room there for our anniversary coming up but after this we don't even want to stay there. The mayo was in a kind with of liquid state and I'm not sure what it should look like.

It could also be a virus. I wouldn't say "it HAD to be the nachos."
