What's in a Lapu Lapu?

I know it comes in a pineapple so it's a lot of alcohol but can it be shared between two people??

What kind of alcohol is in there?

How much is it? Is it worth it?

Lapu Lapu ($12.50 each)
Tambu Lounge

1 oz. Meyer's Rum
1/2 oz. Bacardi 151
Scorpion Mix (half sour mix and half orange juice)
Garnish: Cherry
Serve in a pineapple.

Those are really good drinks, I wish they weren't so expensive. I think you can get them without the pineapple for a bit less. As you can see by Rusty Scupper's recipe it's not a lot of liquid. If you share there'd be only a few sips for each person.

I don't think there's enough for 2 people to share. They were pretty strong, even though they came in a pineapple they weren't very sweet. We had a great bartender (got them before our dinner at Ohana) and he gave us the extra in a glass. Just seeing the joy on boyfriend's face after he turned it into "Mr Pineapple" and had it start talking at the table was worth the price
