Called the 800 number which rang 9 times before I got the initial recording. Pressed 3, than another 12 rings before I got the next recording. Now a recording telling me up to 20 minute hold I've never waited anywhere near that long

That's why I waited until noon instead of 9am. I am looking for next week, so didn't need the 11 month window.

I was expecting to have a difficult time getting through this morning, but got right in at 9am.

Made our first reservations as DVC Members this morning - December 2-9 at SSR. Can't wait for our first "Welcome Home" - I haven't been to WDW during the Christmas season since 1993 when I was on the College Program and the Candlelight Processional was at the Magic Kingdom.

I've been calling at 9AM EST every morning since 1/3, including this morning, and always got right in, usually the CM's first caller of the day. So I'm now all set for 12/2/06->12/7/06 at BWV!!! I've let DW pick the last few times that we've gone and I finally got to pick the dates, I love WDW during the holidays.

We too will be going "home" for the 1st time from 12/3-8, so we'll be there at the same time! It is a wonderful week!. You will love all the decorations, Osborne Lights, Processional, etc, etc....... See you around the SSR pool!

I've tried all day and either get a busy signal, or all circuits are busy please try your call later. Just dialed the non-800 number and all it does is ring!

Finally got through @ 3:20 to book our "Christmas Vacation" November 30th through December 8th. YEAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!

The guy from MS stated that "This is the busiest MS has been during this time of year."

Called today to make our first ressie at 11 months. At 9:05 it was busy, busy, busy. Then I got in and was on hold for about 10 minutes. Guess Pop Warner week is going to be nusy next year. But I am SO excited for our first trip to the home resort.

At 1:30 PM Central I was on hold for 15". I also have been calling day by day and finished our Nov. 27-Dec. 8th ressie. I was concerned too today as I needed a standard view 1 bdr at the BWV and was concerned that with the wait they would be gone.

We've hit the traditional "busy season" for MS -- be prepared to have long waits when you call and be pleasantly surprised if you don't.

DVC used to send out notices/mentions in the newsletters. One major factor is that people have been together with their families over the holidays and talked about the year ahead --- especially when and where they will take their DVC vacations! Lots of folks calling to book plans for the year ahead.

Of course, we've also got the DVC popular early December booking at the 11th month mark.

Add into the mix, folks who got their dues bill and are calling member accounting to pay and/or ask questions.

All in all, be glad you're not working at MS.

I called this morning at 10:30. First time was a busy signal. Called back about five minutes later and got through for a 10 minute wait.
The CM was the nicest one I have ever spoken to.
So we are in at BW in a preferred Studio.

I called today it was busy, busy and long wait times I paid dues and made last minute ressie for my sister and her husband mon jan 16 3 nights BC that was hard to get 1 st nothing and then said BWV and then that was gone needed sun but no luck it went

I never got through... even after about 10 attempts.
It was either busy, or the phone kept ringing and no one ever picked up.

I called yesterday to finish our ressie for a 1BR at VWL for Dec. 3rd through 8th. Tried several times beginning around 9:20 am and got busy signals. Finally got through around 10:15; was on hold for about 10 minutes. We got it!

This will be our first time staying at VWL during December. We've stayed there in January for my birthday (and are headed there next week!) and loved it, so we are VERY excited about staying there during the holiday season!
