What's happening in Vegas March 20-27?

Hotels are incredibly expensive that week. Like $85/nt for Circus Circus and $135/nt for Excalibur.

Looks like Conexpo-Con/AGG Mar 22-26 with approx 140,000 attendees. There's some other smaller conventions going on then too.

NV Universities end Spring break on the 20th - but that is heading into the official season.

When is the NCAA Basketball Tournament....? I would imagine that would increase the crowds quite a bit if it's that week.

For Vegas, yes.
My DD was down there this weekend for a school competition (on her way home as I type this) we contemplated going and could have booked Luxor, Treasure Island or Mandalay for under $100 a night including taxes and resort fees and that was for a Fri/Sat night stay.

Vegas is hosting the WAC(Western Athletic Conference) Tournament earlier in March but none of the NCAA Big Dance tournament. Closest host cities are Denver and Tucson (2nd & 3rd rounds), then Anaheim for some of the regionals with the final 4 in Houston.

March madness is what I was thinking also and well... my birthday I know my Grandparents go down to Vegas that week every year or right around that time to bet on the games. So that would be one of my guesses but then again they go like for 2 weeks every other month

Yes, March Madness.

Expect lots of MEN. EVERYWHERE. Especially in the sport books and poker rooms. A single woman's dream weekend. Or maybe not, because all they do that weekend is watch basketball.
