What's Happening Dec 4 2024??

Thought I would pose this question here to see if anyone has any insight into this. I am heading to DLR Dec 1 - 6, 2024 and just went to review my hotel booking. I did a dummy booking for the same dates to see if the price changed at all and I notice that the hotel is sold out on Wednesday Dec 4. Just for fun I thought I would check a different hotel for pricing and they are also sold out on this same night. Hmm. Trying to figure out what is happening so we book our park day accordingly. Any ideas?

Ah yes. I see that now. I assumed it might have been a park thing but obviously a convention centre issue. Thanks for clarifying.

Couldn't say for sure, but I'd be surprised. There was a big convention last week (some hotels were sold out), and I think the parks were overall a little bit lighter than normal.

Enchant Keys are open the first two weeks of December, so the parks might overall be slightly busier than normal because of the holiday season. But those mid-week days are usually pretty good choices for December.

I've been having trouble getting December THIRD (Tuesday). As it is right now, our ressie at the Candy Cane is split in two, and we are having to move room types. Standard rooms are available every night EXCEPT that Tuesday. Seems weird...
