What's good at the Turf Club?

My DH and I will be eating there for the first time Monday. What do you who have eaten there recommend?

OMG - everything. We stayed at SSR this past year and the Turf Club is one of the best kept secrets.

I had the salad with citrus viniagrette and a crostini both days. I am dreaming about it right now.

The onion rings are huge and fabulous; they came with a hot and spicy dipping sauce and a sweet dipping sauce.

The burger is great and they let you substitute a slaw in lieu of fries. I love, love, love it when restaurants do that.

The second day I had the grilled chicken sandwich and it was also good.

If it is warm enough, sit out on the patio. I watched the water taxi go by for about two hours and you can see a corner of the golf course as well.

Really? I thought they were terrible! We had a party of nine and those who ordered steaks seemed pleased. Those who ordered the lamb chops were disappointed.

We had lunch at the Turf Club on our last day. We all enjoyed it - the steak looked good but I had the tuna salad thing with bagel chips and wasabi cream cheese- definitely an aquired taste - just odd. The desserts were excellent, particularly the espresso torte and apple pie - yum!!

We ate there about a year ago. I think I had the burger & onion rings but I honestly don't remember. I'm sure I'd remember it if it was to one extreme or the other (good/bad).Enjoy

I enjoyed their calamari, steak with crab meat topping, and hot apple pie with ice cream. What I really enjoyed though was their blackberry lemonade. For some reason I loved that stuff.

What I didn't enjoy was the young couple sitting next to me, ignoring their screaming toddler the entire time I was there. The kid was screaming when they brought him in and plopped his down in the high chair and never let up the entire time I was there. Everyone in the room was looking at them, but they just totally ignored the kid screaming. lol
