What is your favorite thing at Columbia Harbour House?

It's a counter service place, and the menu is limited. I would say the Captains special, which is chicken strips and fish with fries or carrots. Go to www.allearsnet.com and see the menu. There really isn't much there, though.

Everyone on the boards seems to rave about CHH, so we ate there this trip...liked the Cosmic Ray's selections and food better than CHH. Probably won't eat at CHH again...

Personally I can only eat so many fries and burgers. So CHH is a welcomed change for us. DH raved about the tuna sandwich. I had the captains special chicken fingers/fish. The fish was so good I wished I'd only gotten fish. We only though the apple pie was marginal. We like homemade pie - it was okay if you are used to store boughten.

Thanks for the replies,I am doing The Keys to the Kingdom tour and I guess lunch there is included since I have never eaten there before but it seems fairly popular I thought I would find out what everyone like there so I have some idea what to order.

Try the clam chowder or the vegetarian chili or the hummus/broccoli slaw sandwich. All are excellent and quite different from the burgers and fries that most places serve.

CHH is wonderful if you are a vegetatian. They have a great hummus sandwich AND veggie chili! I get so sick of veggie burgers and veggie lasagna when I'm on vacation.

I really like the vegetarian chili and the lighthouse sandwich (hummus/broccoli slaw). I usually get the soup and 1/2 sandwich combo so that I can have both the chili and the sandwich without getting too full.

DH and both DS's like the captain's special (fish and chicken with fries). I ate there with a friend last December, and she had the anchors aweigh sandwich (tuna) with clam chowder (got the soup and 1/2 sandwich combo) and she said both were excellent.

CHH is one of our very favorite places to eat! We like everything there! Hope you enjoy it!

i think it is a nice place to eat, not busy, cute but small selection of food. the clam chowder was pretty good ( it was in a bread bowl when i got it but dont' see the bread bowl on the menu so don't know if it still is) other wise it would be kind of pricey for soup!
