This has probably been answered somewhere on here, but I can't find it.

What ages do kids have to be to still be required to have a booster seat? Ours will be seven and six for our August trip. I'm planning to rent a car, but don't know if I'll need the booster seats.

Thanks

Here you go:

Florida dosen't have a booster law and children are only required to be in a carseat through age 3.

So you dont need the boosters by law but if you have low back boosters they pack very well in a duffle bag and most airlines won't count them against your checked luggage. Even though its not required in FL we used one for travel the same as we did at home.

Have a great trip.

We used booster seats for our children last trip...4 and 6. I figured that they are used to having to use them at home, so they would be too confused not using them on vacation. If your kids don't normally sit in booster seats, I wouldn't worry about it.
