They are all long walks.

Just not so. The Polynesian actually abuts the western edge of the TTC. From Rapa Nui to the ferry can't be more than a 3 minute walk. Add another minute if that to the base of the monorails. About the same to the TTC buses.

The OP did not give a starting point. In your case, you are totally correct, but, the original question was esoteric, ie: try to find "x".

I'll have to check out some maps. So if I want to get there early, I should park as far west as possible at the TTC, then walk to the Poly? The idea here is to get to an early character breakfast at the MK from AKL. Since I'm not confident with the busses, I figure a monorail ride from Poly is my best bet.

We stayed in Tokelau longhouse. It was about a 10 minute walk to the TTC. It was about a 5 minute walk to the Polynesian to MK ferry area. Don't know about the walk to GF...never did it.
From the Contemporary to MK it was about 8 minutes for us. But, we were in the North Wing, so closer than other areas.

No, Rob. Sorry if I confused you.

By TTC, I meant the area where you actually can buy tickets and board the monorail, ferry or buses. The Polynesian abuts that area.

The MK parking lots occupy a huge amount of land. Part of the area is across a street and a canal from the Polynesian but there are only a couple of places to cross that canal. In addition, I think that general area of parking is for CMs as you see them crossing over there all the time.

More importantly, you won't get to pick a parking lot. There is a series of CMs who direct each car to a specific lot, aisle and space.

Since you will be arriving early you may be able to just walk from the lot to the TTC. Otherwise, you just hop on a tram.

From the TTC you could walk to the Polynesian but it would be simpler to just board the resort monorail at the TTC. You will need to have your PS #. Look for a CM near the monorail area and show them. You will then be allowed to board.
