What is the code 5125601? Are there restrictions?

I am still looking for 10/7-10/15, and the rates are awful!!! I had a semi-decent mid size SUV last week at Alamo, but didn't get a chance to book, and now it's gone.

Looks like it is an AMEX code...probably need to have an AMEX card to use it...I'm not familiar with it either though...

Do you have Emerald Club with National? Using code 5007125 (emerald club code on Mousesavers) and coupon off National's website for $25 off SUV, minivan, luxury - got a rate of $313.82/total for a midsize SUV. A midsize SUV on Alamo came up at $300.51/total using Walmart code 430710/BY and coupon D24C ($25 from Mousesavers).

HTH! Not that low yet, but hopefully the "Hot Deals" will help us later!

I sure hope so!!! I don't need an SUV, a full size car is fine, but the SUV had the best rate last week, I was a dummy for waiting. I just booked a full size for $225 total at Alamo. I prefer National ER, so I am praying they do something good in a couple of weeks. Last year I paid $131 for the 8 days in mid October, full size!!! And they were out of full size so they gave us a mini van.

it's an AmEx code - you must pay for the rental with an American Express card.

I checked today, and our 5-day rental is still $120.76. We paid less than that for a full week last year. We're not quite 3-weeks out, so I'm hoping for another rate drop

You do not have to pay for the rental with the Am. Ex. card. You should have one with you just in case they should ask for it.
I have never been asked for my card and I use that code all the time.

that's what I meant, LOL. You shouldn't use the code if you don't have an AmEx card... in case they might ask to see it.

Ugh! Rentals seem to be at a standstill. While I am glad they aren't jumping up in price it would be nice to see them drop some more...

I can't get mine to drop, either. I am wondering what time of the month in August that September vacationers saw their rates drop (mid month)?
I have EA 10/15-10/22 for $183 inclusive of taxes. That is also with 5125601 and 10009508 coupon. I want my rate from last year back!!!

National came down a bit for early October. I now have 10 days in October for $181. I used ND41 ($20 0ff) and the contract from AAA 6100253.

For the Contract I am using AAA 6100253 and the coupon $20. off I am using ND41.
holidays are usually higher, but keep trying, it might come down some.

My dates are about the same as yours, one day longer, and that id and code are still giving me $275! Yikes!

I have a compact reserved via the SW site (code WN333) picking up/returning at Tampa for $143 with all taxes. I don't think it's great, but it's the lowest I could find.
