What's everyone doing today?

I'm going to a bag party. They're loads of fun. Everyone gets a big brown bag, and then tons of different merchandise is passed around in baskets. If you want something, you throw it in your bag. If not, keep passing it down.

Alot of it is just cheap little stuff, but it's fun anyway.

What are you doing this Saturday?

Mo is going next door to a "going away" party for her friends who are moving away next week. I'm going to do laundry and pack. I have to work at 6 until 10pm so I'm not looking forward to that. I might go and get a haircut today too.

Washing windows, taking down the screens and putting up the storm windows

Dumping out the planters

Taking down the fountain and winterize the awning.

Generally getting ready for winter here


OH and I have a plan to get to Yankee Candle today for some fall candles!

Well lets see, I'm going to help the kiddies carve pumpkins, watching a little football, going to a marching band festival (DW helps with the flag core ), then we are going to DW's 10 class re-union this evening. We're going on a river boat cruise, which kinda scares me, cuz if we are having a bad time...we have no way to leave! I'm sure we'll have fun though.

Kewl on the marching band competition. Are you heading to the one in Plymouth/Canton? If I get everything done, I may drop by there today, too!

I work from home (that is why I get to be on the DIS right now)...doing that until 12. Watching TX-OU football game. GO TEXAS!!! Maybe a pumpkin patch later with all four of my children. 445 working concession stand at DD soccer game. 6 watching DD soccer game and then we are going out with the team for dinner tonight.

I'm glad you asked! My sister and I are getting together with the two girls we grew up with. We still stay in touch & get together at least once a year. First - we were going to do a weekend cruise in Mexico - that got down-graded to 2 nights in Carmel - now we're having a slumber party at the one gal's house. We were going to go into San Francisco for the day too - but it's the start of Fleet Week - don't know if the crowds will be too much. I guess we'll "wing it" today

Currently proctoring the SAT (I'm on a break right now!) and this afternoon will be shopping for my Halloween costume.

The Girls: Eating Cheerios (I gave them to Holly for the first time), watching cartoons, and playing. Lucky them.

Me: The never-ending pile of laundry I have been doing for 2 days (where did all these clothes come from?), dishes, scrubbing my bathroom, all-in-all cleaning the girls messes up. Right now I am taking a "break" to eat some Cheerios of my own and see what everyone else is up too LOL.

DH just finished grilling all kinds of good stuff to eat.....now I won't have to do any cooking this week-end. Tonight we plan to drive over to OLD TOWN in Kissimmee and see the old cars. We're finding that lots of WDW guests venture over to this area for fun.

we had 4 cords delivered on Wed...and we still had to finish building the storage shed it was going in...also closing up the air conditioning tomorrow..washing windows..putting in storm windows..taking out the rest of the garden and starting to 'winterize' in general!...that should keep us busy right thru Columbus Day..thanks for asking..lol!
