What's everyone doing today?

DH and I both have off and are planning on maybe seeing a movie and having lunch out.

What are your plans?

DH is working- boys are off......we'll probably do a heck of a lot of nothing!!! Watch some movies, play some games...that kind of thing.

I am supposed to be off, but have some things happening at work, so I will probably spend half a day there. I hate to waste a holiday like that!

Kids are off but DH is working.

DH has to work so it's just me and the kids. It's only 42 degrees right now in South Florida so I'm freezing. If it stays cold all day we will be staying inside all day.

Kids are out of school, but we (teachers) have in-service meetings, so it will be a looong, boring day. It should seem like the week goes by faster when we just have four day school weeks, but it usually seems like they're as long, if not longer than, a normal week. I guess it seems that way because we're trying to "cram" five days into four, and we just end up exhausted. This is our crunch time of the year, as we prepare for the all important testing. To everyone who has the day off, enjoy your time relaxing and Dising. I know I have enjoyed the couple of snow days we got, so I'm happy for you all to have your extra time to relax and do what you want to do. I'll be wearing a WDW shirt and writing with WDW pens to remind myself why I am in the meeting...to pay for my WDW trips! (And food and shelter, I suppose.) Have a good one!

We're buying a new car today, hopefully! Trading in my Toyota Sienna for a new one. Then we're headed out to lunch with my mom and my 85 year old grandmother who said she wanted to treat us to lunch. After that, I'll be coming home and cleaning my house.

Working. DH is off today with the kids, they are going ice skating. I'm bummed I can't go, but I was off last week a majority of the week due to weather and school closings and can't burn anymore vacation time.

Ooooh, be sure to tell us about your new van if you do end up buying one. We are keeping our Sienna for a few more years, but I love hearing about the new models. We love our Sienna, I will be so sad when my kids grow up and we no longer need a van because its the best vehicle I've ever owned, hands down. Good luck today!

My school is having an open house b/c there are several schools in the area that are closing and we're hoping to lure some families to our school, so I have to go in for that. Afterwards, I'm heading out to the local ski resort to meet up w/my son who is in "SKi Race Camp" this week for some fun on the slopes!
