What's everybody getting for car rentals Pres Week?

Hi all

Just curious what rates people are getting for Pres Week

I got a rate of $170 for full size at National using the priceless code

Last Pres Week, the cheapest I found was Budget for $188 and the rates started going up significantly by this time. In fact, a lot of the car rental places were sold out. Maybe not as many people travelling this year? (yeah, i know, wishful thinking!)

Is that rate for 7 days? I don't think it's too bad actually.

I'll be using a rental car for 9 days including Pres. Week. I booked with Budget a few months ago, and got $170 for a compact and $177 for an intermediate. That's for the whole 9 days, including taxes, etc. I am really satisfied with those rates, esp. as I see how the price would be higher if I booked it now.

Pretty sure I'll be cancelling the compact and keeping the intermediate.

Now my challenge is to find an intermediate for 10 days including Easter week for a good cheap rate. So far I've booked Dollar for $261, which was the lowest by far at the time I booked. But I'll keep checking around and see if I can slice and dice that rate down to size.

When did you get those rates?
Maybe I need to check again.
I booked National EA in April and got $289 for 9 days.
Base was $183, extra days at $32 (each) Taxes about $42 - used priceless but Ent Coupon wasn't out yet. Hoping to add is later or just give in when I arrive. Anyone know the new number? I haven't bought my book yet.

I booked a full size with Dollar from the 14th of Feb. through the 25th. This was using the MAG code. National was about $20 higher. I keep looking to see if I can lower this, but it is for 11 full days so I guess it's not too bad.

If anyone knows how to lower this, I'd love to hear. I've tried all the usual codes and links that I can think of.

Great rates! Care to share your codes/coupons or when you booked? We usually book full size, but I'd consider intermediate if I could get a rate like this.

I went on Mousesavers & used there National code. I just kept trying until I got a great rate. I am not using my ecomony rate of $120.00

Do you think National would let me transfer it to another name, I would love to share it with any of my fellow Disney Boards friends going on the same date.

Currently I am at $143 for the intermediate and $181 for full size. I am thus far only using the Priceless code.

I monitor the rates regularly and have locked in numerous drops since original booking.

Have any of you guys checked National recently? I just checked today and the rate for a full size was up to almost $500!!!
