Whats e-night?

There's Enight and there's Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party, (or MSSHP as it's called here on the boards). They are two different things. They don't have Enights during October when the Halloween parties are going on.

Enight- Are nights when, for folks staying at the WDW onsite hotels, can pay an extra $12 or so and stay at the Magic Kingdom after the park closes to everyone else for three extra hours. They mostly have them during the busier seasons, like summer, and are great because the parks aren't crowded and you can rides the most popular rides with little to no waits. Not all rides are open, and most of the shops are closed. It's lots of fun, my granddaughter loves enight.

Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party - Is a party that takes place at Magic Kingdom after park closing. They have 2 or 3 a week, every week during the month of October. The tickets are thirty something dollars for this. The Magic Kingdom is transformed with dark Halloweenie lights & special decorations just for the parties. Kids get to trick or treat, there's a special parade with a headless horseman, the same rides that are open for Enight are open for the party. There's special entertainment, with Ghost Story telling, a Palm Reader, kids get to be in these little parades to show off their costumes, a free photo, and a bunch of stuff. We've done it once and it was wonderful!

Just to clarify, it is not just the same rides that are open on e-nights that are open during MNSSHP. During e-night there are 9 rides open. During MNSSHP nearly every ride and attraction is open. Last year I believe the only attractions not open were the Treehouse, the Tiki Room, and the HoP.
