If you have two kids 12 and 10, which park would be more appropriate if you only have time to visit one of them.

I thought so also. I was just wondering if most of the rides would be appropriate for that age and not too intense.

Thats where the Studios kicks in.If the kids are not brave enough for coasters, this side of the park will fill a full day of RIDING THE MOVIES.:thumbsup2

imo

Hmmm they are both brilliant, in Islands of Adventure there is a range of things to do, there jurassic park areas and a water ride, a lot of marvel ie. spiderman, X Men, the hulk, there are rollercoaters, attractions, they would like the 3-D spiderman ride!!! then there is a pop eye play ground, water rides and stuff like that. It is really good fun :) studios part would be less suitable, with mummy ride being too scary! even kind of scared me when I was 14!! there is a terminator show they would probs like though!
BUT go to IOA if you must chose :) xx

My two would vote IOA all the way, but they are thrill seekers. If yours are not into coasters/thrills, I'd stick with Studios.

We were there in December last year with our ten year old grandson. He liked both parks, because they both had attractions that really appealed to him: Mummy, MIB, Jimmy Neutron, Jaws, and the Simpsons at US, and the Marvel rides and the water rides at IoA. I'd say IoA if you plan on hitting the water rides, US if you plan on staying dry.
