What's better than a honeymoon? TWO Honeymoons! 8/30 57 hours/13 months to go!

He's getting used to me making plans and it being accidentally running into someone I know, whether in real life or online. It fact when we were in Cali last year, I met up with this girl I knew from online and over the phone only, it was our first time meeting. Thank goodness he is use to my craziness now.

I'm looking forward to going when so many other DISers are going to be there. I think it will be so fun to run into people I 'know'

Day 5 sounds great, can't wait to hear all about the HDDR :goodvibes

I will take lots of pics and report back!

I'm jealous of your ticker! Haha. Having the day off before you leave for vacation will be so nice. You will get to be stress free at the start of your trip! :) I definitely think you will park hop more later in the trip. But if not-all the better! I can't wait to take a lot more of a relaxing approach to this trip myself. Even if I had to write relax in my daily plans haha. :)

It's funny about tickers- I keep seeing people with ones that say '50 days till we leave' and I think how lucky they are. Then I remember where mine is. I'm just so used to it being sooooo far away!

I am wondering if this is the trip where I finally learn to slow down. I kinda hope so!

I can't believe you've only got a little more than 2 weeks to go! I'm so excited for you! :woohoo: And I'm loving the plans so far. Your Poly arrival day sounds so nice!

I know! 2 weeks from right now we will be getting ready to find something to eat at CityWalk. I can't believe it!!

I'm sure you can sweet talk Ben into get the other breakfast you want!
Can't wait to hear all about HDDR when you get back-- never been but it looks like great, corny fun!

There's a good chance that's what he'd want to order anyway, but I bet you're right- I can make it happen ;)

My plan of taking off work a day early was short lived. Scheduling conflicts mean that I have to be there- boo! So the day before my trip won't be any sort of relaxing. But, the optimist in me must point out that it will make the day go by faster. And since my job is very physically tiring, I may even be able to sleep the night before we leave!
This also means that for the first time in recorded history, I will have to pack ahead of time. Honestly, I'm actually looking forward to it!

As we are officially under 2 weeks (by about 14 hours), we've reached an exciting stage of pre-Disneyness: the first day of our trip is now up on Accuweather's extended forecast. I don't put much stock in the actual prediction (92 and sunny, with a chance of showers) but it is exciting to see it there!

Now it is time for...
Day 6: Tuesday, 9/7
This is my new favorite day!
It'll be our first Epcot experience for the trip and we love us some Epcot!
It is early EMH, but I don't think we'll make it for park opening. I have a feeling that by this day we will both be needing to sleep just a leeetle bit later. But we will head over fairly early in the day and enjoy Future World. I still haven't seen the 'new' Spaceship Earth, so I am excited for that!

I would also like to do the 'Behind the Seeds' tour at the Land. So today might be the day for that. I would also like to eat lunch at Sunshine Seasons (mostly because of the strawberry shortcake). But it has to be an early, light lunch because at 5:40 we have dinner at...

Le Cellier! This is a brand new restaurant for us to try and I am way excited! I've read so much about it- good and bad- and it does sound like a place we would enjoy.

After dinner we may hang out at World Showcase or head over to MK for a little bit.

Oooh, I almost forgot our other Epcot 'wishes': Mine is to do a Kim Possible mission. Ben wants to drink around the world (I want to try the margarita flight at the tequila bar in Mexico, so I guess this is my wish, too :rotfl: )

So maybe we will stay at Epcot all day. And maybe we won't park hop.... my world is going nutso!

We will be in Epcot on the 7th too...and we have dinner at Le Cellier scheduled...although, it is for much later than yours.

I envy the drinking around the world. I really would love to at least have a bit to drink. A couple years ago I had one of those rainbow margaritas. It was really good until all the salt melted into the drink. Then it was just too salty to drink. In february, dh got a grand marnier slushie..and I had a few sips. YUM. It was almost worth how I ended up feeling from it.

Good luck with the packing... I can't believe how close our trips are getting! Under two weeks!!!! :woohoo::woohoo::woohoo:

Exciting stuff, love Epcot days :goodvibes

Gosh look at your ticker! Two weeks :teeth: :yay:

Sounds like a perfect Epcot day! If I remember, like me, you're not a huge Soarin fan, right?? If that's the case, there's really no need to get to Epcot at rope drop. There will be plenty of opportunities to go on Test Track and Mission: Space later

Some moments I feel like the time is flying by and others start to feel like every second is dragging!

Right, we are skipping Soarin'. And with Test Track's single rider line and the fact that I've never seen a wait for Mission: Space since the first year it was open, I think we'll have plenty of time for exploring Epcot!

I found your TR link in your signature and popped on over here yesterday and since then I have read 27+ pages! (Ok, parts of it I skimmed!)

LOVE the wedding dress and you make a stunning bride! You and Ben make a cute couple. Love the engagement stories (although the ocean swallowing your ring brought tears to my eyes) and the wedding photos and I am going to count down with you becaues I too go to the Poly soon (although further away from your departure date).

So joining in and can't wait to hear more about what you will (or WON'T) do at WDW!

Welcome, welcome!! I am thoroughly impressed that you were able to read through the whole thing so quickly (even if you did skim parts ;) )

Thank you for the wedding compliments- I love that I have this PTR that documents the time leading up to the wedding to look back on.

I'll have more plans coming up soon! There's plenty more we're going to do. And probably lots that we're not gonna do, too :lmao:

I thought my trip was close, but the days are seriously dragging now. Ugh! Hurry up, trip! I'll do the only thing I can... post the next plans!

Day 7: Wednesday, 9/8
We're going to the Studios today! I love this park- the streetmosphere actors are hilarious and add a lot to the feel of the park. ToT is my favorite Disney attraction of all and I could ride it all day. Muppet Vision 3D is hilarious and I love Bean Bunny.
Also, this is our first trip since TSM opened, and we are both very excited to try it! So that is another highlight for us.

As is usual for us, there are things we don't like that seem to be favorites for many people...
Indiana Jones Stunt Spectacular: Pretty cool show (actually, it's a pretty warm show) that never changes. We'll skip it.
Lights Motor Action: see above. Ben has actually never seen it- he had zero interest on our last trip and I had just been the year before. I asked him again for this time around and he still has no interest.
Backlot Tour: This may be my least favorite Disney attraction. Once they took down Residential Street and the interactive parts (anyone remember the bee from 'Honey I shrunk the Kids' that they would put a volunteer on and film?) and didn't bother to add anything new, it just became boring to me.
Fantasmic!: Have never seen it. Just not my thing. Also don't want to wait 45min- hour for it.

Hmmm... did I just manage to alienate readers? I feel like I am coming across as a grumpy person who doesn't like stuff. I like stuff, I swear! And I'm not grumpy! Would a grumpy person take a picture like this?
P1010161-1.jpg

That's in the 'line' for the Animation Academy or whatever it's called. Have I ever mentioned that just hearing (or even thinking about) the song 'Baby Mine' from Dumbo makes me cry? See, I am not a grump!

Anywho, let's get back to the plan... We are eating lunch at Sci-Fi Dine In. This was a Ben request because he has never eaten here. I like it just fine (yummy burgers!) and we're both looking forward to it.

Dinner will be at The Wave at 7:30, and I hope it's delicious! I have read mixed reviews, but I'm going in with an open mind.

In the evening, I would really like to head over to Port Orleans Riverside to catch Yee-haw Bob's show. It sounds like a really good time, and it will be a good chance to visit this resort. I want Ben to love the PO resorts like I do so that we can stay there next time!

There is our Studios day!

I'll leave off with a question: are 4 pairs of shoes too many?

I will be back to reality by this time. :sad1: We're trying the Wave on the 4th. I'm trying to pack, but I just ordered packing cubes and I'm waiting for them to arrive on Wednesday so then I"ll really pack. I did pack my park bag. I do have a whole corner in a room for everything for this trip.

Boo for reality!
What's a packing cube? (Am I dumb for not knowing? )
I am going to have to start packing at some point, cause my last couple days before the trip are crazy-tastic.

Sounds like a great day-- we are not fans of any of the DHS shows besides Fantasmic (sort of) and BATB. We always skip LMA and Indy, too.
Backlot lost major points with me when the Golden Girl's house was taken away. Not. cool.
Dumbo is waaaay too depressing for me-- Baby Mine always brings on the tears! We've never seen Yee-Haw Bob, but it seems like corny fun (like HDDR!). POR is the absolute best mod in my opinion. So beautiful!

:rotfl: you do not seem grumpy. You just have your likes and dislikes. As for 4 shoes? HMMMMM....I think i am bringing at least that many, so no...4 is not too many.;)

As for Yeehaw Bob, we caught him in passing last trip. We walked by the bar each night on our way back to our room. I think the bar is a bit small...but everyone seemed to be having a good time.

Boo for reality!

I am going to have to start packing at some point, cause my last couple days before the trip are crazy-tastic.

I hear packing cubes help keep things organized and you can fit more things in your bag and not use as much space.

I think I'm up to three pairs of shoes but that includes $1 flip flops for water rides. I hate walking around in wet shoes squishing around.

I do like BATB and have seen it a few times. My big problem with shows is having to get there early for a seat, then just sit there all hot and bored. Not my thing.
Word on the Golden Girls. I loved those ladies (that's how our newest cat got her name, Blanche) and their house should never have been demolished.

Ben found my 'park sandals' from our last trip... I had completely forgotten about them so I am excited. But that brings the shoe total up a little high. At least they're light shoes!

I hate wet shoes! My feet get wet a lot with kennel/cage cleaning and it drives me nuts.

*I know this has happened before, but I do not know why photobucket isn't saving the resizing of some of the pictures. I'm sorry! I did not mean for you to see Ben's face that big.*

As a special treat, I have a bonus post coming up... these are some more pictures from our last trip. I do not remember most of them. They are random and some are just bizarre.

P1010116.jpg

This appears to be Ben on a Friendship boat. I don't know what the face is for, but it is funny.

P1010150.jpg

This is Br'er Rabbit way closer than you should ever see him. I forgot about these pictures we took as we walked out of Brokedown Splash Mountain.

P1010160.jpg

This is a toilet, and it definitely was taken in Disney World. I know I took it, and that it was a conscious decision not an accident. I have no idea why. Joyce=Wacko.

P1010151.jpg

I love Raggedy Ann and Andy. I used to watch their 'Musical Adventure' movie over and over and over as a kid. Search for it on Youtube, there are some great songs. Anyway, Ben was a real nice guy and managed to get this picture for me on Peter Pan. He pretty much had to snap it blind, and got really lucky! Yay Ben!

I'll call these next ones the 'Nature Series'. I think it's kinda ironic that I explained how we are skipping the Safari at AK cause we don't need more pictures of the animals. Yet, look what we do...

P1010109.jpg

There's a squirrel in that last one. He's camouflaged.

P1010165fixed.jpg

I can't believe my quick reflexes to get this picture. We were on the train and it was stopped at the ToonTown station. That lady was showing her 'stuff'. I was a jerk and took a picture of it. But I made her face disspaear before posting it, so I think it's ok.

P1010110.jpg

And here is the super cute Figment we bought in Epcot. He lives in the back window of my car with Wembly the Fraggle.

4 pairs of shoes is what I am bringing so no, it's not too many pairs :lmao: I like to change shoes from my morning and evening shoes so my feet don't get blistered or rubbed too much in the same spot. Tevas for day parks and water parks, flip flops for the room and going to the pool, and dansko sandals for the evening (one black, one beige - both great for my feet yet somewhat stylish).

That squirrel photo is really cool!!!

Dance your cares away,
Worry's for another day.
Let the music play,
Down at Fraggle Rock.

Work you cares away,
Dancing's for another day.
Let the Fraggles play,
We're Gobo, Mokey, Wembley, ****er, Red.

Sorry you mentioning Wembley made me start singing it.

* I love how they edited B00Ber's name haa haa haa

That is a good point- changing shoes will keep the feet fresh longer!

I'm right there with you too. 4 pair of shoes on the packing list for me too!

So as it turns out, 4 is just the right amount of pairs for a Disney trip. Know we know!:lmao:

Poor B00ber... I love the Fraggles. I won my Wembly at Canobie Lake Park at a Wack-a-Mole game. I happen to be really good at Wack-a-Mole. The kid working the game didn't even know what the Fraggles he was giving away were. I thought that was sad. I am thinking that Figment and Wembly might have to come along on this trip... they've been in my car too long!
