What's better than a honeymoon? TWO Honeymoons! 8/30 57 hours/13 months to go!

I love those shirts!!! Fantastic choices!

I'm cracking up at your SM story! We got stuck on IASW last December for over 30 minutes! I'm surprised that I'm not locked up in a padded room somewhere.

Phew! I finally finished reading your PTR. I'm really late in starting to read it. Funny enough, I took my BF to Disneyland before we had been together for a year. It was our first stop on the way to Palm Springs.

I cried too in Toy Story 3 in IMAX. I wish I could help you out and foster some of your cats, but I'm not allowed more than the two we have one, and since one is always trying to escape out the door, I think we have our hands full, until after the trip. LOL!

Your wedding photos were beautiful! Sorry about the ring. Sandals looked awesome! Counting down the days with you!

I saw those shirts when I almost bought a couple myself. I just couldn't justify the cost when our money is so tight right now. :sad2:

It must have been a long time if you weren't even excited to see backstage! I get antsy when we stop for just a couple minutes waiting to go down the drop though.

There's a mailbox in WS?! Where is it at?! We'll definitely have to send a postcard to my inlaws on our trip b/c they sent us one when they were in SD last week. :)

P.S. We booked an ADR for The Wave too. The menu intrigues me. I can't wait to try it!

It was a long time on Splash... at least a 1/2 hour before the music stopped. We just wanted to get away... the only thing I really noticed backstage was the ground and the gate we walked through to get back in the park!

I think the mailbox was in the America pavilion, along the walkway. It wasn't hidden or anything, but is an old timey one that kinda blends into the green of the railings.

I am happy I kept my Wave ADR- I want to try the Apple Brined Pork Tenderloin...

That wedding set looks so cute! If you find out the price let me know! And I love the shirts, too! :thumbsup2

Your SM story is hilarious! The funniest things seem to happen to you! :lmao:

We do tend to have pretty bad luck- but things usually work out ok for us. At least we got some fun pictures of us in broken Splash Mountain.

OMG, I'd lose my mind if I got stuck where you did on Splash! :scared1:

Love the shirts. They're very cute. :goodvibes

Ears to the Bride and Groom looks awesome. I think you should get that and wear the hats during a photo shoot. :rolleyes1 :cutie:

I thought it was bad when the boats unloading back up, but I will never complain about that again!

Love the new purchases, esp the Toy's tee :thumbsup2

Yikes at being stuck at that specific point, I would have been the same as you. Can you imagine getting stuck on IASM, would be worse!!!

Love the Ears to You gift basket, perfect for celebrating your Disneymoon :goodvibes

The Toy t-shirt is the one I'm most excited to see when it gets here... I think it will be very cute!

Love the new t's. I always buy more ahead of the trips than on. That way I have them to enjoy for the trip. Usually, things that I buy on the trip just come home and sit on a shelf..

I think it is interesting how often people do get stuck on rides. It makes it somewhat of a consolation that you get to see so much of the ride not normally seen as you are escorted off, but still...it can be a bit scary too. We got stuck on Thunder Mountain Railroad once.. It was so cool to walk "the tracks and sidewalk" near the ride. We could see each little snake etc. very well. What was scary was why the ride stopped and the fact that it caused injury within the month that we were there.

If you find out the cost of the wedding package, please do post it. DD and her disneymoon and all...would be nice to know about options like that.

That's true- I usually think of the rides stopping to prevent an accident/injury, but it would be really scary to have it happen on a ride that recently did have an accident.

Love the shirts! They are so cute. I don't have any disney shirts, but I really like those designs... maybe I will have to see what they have as well!

I like the 'Mickey me Crazy' one. Say the phrase out loud, it cracks me up.

Ugh, that would be way worse. At least Splash has more detailed scenery to look at. Do you feel like you ever have to go on IASW again after that?

:welcome: Thanks for reading, I know it's a lot to get through!

I guess it is important to drag a BF to DL early on... gotta know if it's going to work or not!

It does sound like your kitties keep you busy enough at the moment! But they sure are cute :goodvibes

It is SO close now! I can;t believe it!

For those of you also curious on the price of the 'Ears to the Bride and Groom', I just called Disney Floral and spoke to a very helpful and friendly CM named Marie. With the Iron Horse sparkling wine, the price is $124 (though it is actually $140.08 after taxes and with delivery charge... which should probably just be included because what are you going to do, go pick it up? :confused3 )

The price depends on the type of sparkling wine or cider that you chose. Though I didn't have her go through all the options (I should have, but I don't have a pen and paper with me and it was already hard to keep track of numbers- I am a bad DIS reporter :guilty: )

But I did go ahead and order it. I was pleasantly surprised by the price, as it wasn't quite a butt load of money, more like just a lot of money. But we wanted the ears anyway, and now we also get glasses and some wine and snacks. This is one I have to keep a surprise, or else there's no point!

And I am the most awkward person in the world- the CM asked who it was being delivered to and I told her my name (which is already changed). Then she asked who was ordering it and I told her it was me- same person. So she was like, 'well, then we should deliver it to you and your husband, don't you think?' :rotfl: Yes, Marie- that would be very thoughtful! I'm a dork.

Did I mention that in exactly one month we will be getting in a cab and heading to Portofino Bay?
We got our Magical Express booklet Saturday. They are just one-way vouchers because for some reason Disney doesn't want to drive us to Universal :rolleyes1 Guess I can't really blame them for that!

That price isn't actually THAT bad. I believe the ears cost us around $40, maybe a little less or little more.

I would totally do the same thing you did. Only I would reflect on it for a few days and groan out loud every time I thought about it. :lmao:

No spilling the beans this time!

Lucky for me I'm in charge of all the planning since I'm the one who wanted to go! I still haven't figured it all out. But I'm almost done shopping for it. And I have yet to go get any new clothes! I think he's still mad at me for waking him up at 7:30am to walk down the street to be waiting for a 1/2 hour to get in first thing so I could try Space Mountain. I was like :scared1: even after it stopped..... I think I'm getting off the point.

Oh! Keep it to yourself and us here! I was thinking of trying to do a little something for him, since the dessert party is more for me. But I can't find anything for him.

I was ready for her to say a number that started with a 2 and I was going to say, 'Thanks, have a great day!' And click. So when the number started with a 1... well, next thing I knew, I got it.

I am still cringing about my awkwardness. That is why I hate ordering things over the phone. I get all flustered for some reason.

Haha, I have to keep this a secret! Though Ben works from home and apparently he heard part of the call (I was in another room with the door closed) because he just asked me if I was talking to someone from Disney. He said he heard me say September 6th. I said some random nonsense then changed the subject. Hopefully he's forgotten about it already!

What kinds of things does your BF like? Is there a tour that would be interesting for him?
Maybe renting one of those little boats (are they called SeaRaycers?)

Awesome surprise! A bit pricy, yes, but I think you'll love having the keepsakes-- make sure to take pictures! I def want to see what everything looks like!

I would...... but he would want to drive them as fast a possible, he's a typical guy in that respect, but if we flipped over it would be very bad since he doesn't really know how to swim. I'm packing away all sorts of goodies he doesn't know about, window clings, glow in the dark bracelets, etc. I'm just a big kid. He's going to be rolling his eyes at me.

In other news I think I booked a few more ADR's today and I"m not even sure if I'm going to be in the park that day. LOL! I need three full days at home to just work on my park/ dining plan.

Off to Target, Dollar Tree, Walgreens, Jo-Ann's Fabrics after work to find more cool things that I don't really need but will want for the trip.

I understand the Dream lodge thing. Mine has always been AKL with a Savannah view. I've always wanted to travel to Africa.

Yay for ordering the Ears, not too bad a price :thumbsup2

Gosh time has just flown by hasn't it, this month will be over before you know it :)

I will take plenty of pictures!

The little boats can't go all that fast- but I understand not wanting to end up dumped over in the water!!

I love doing trip related shopping! We're less than a month away, now!

I can't believe how close we are! And because work is still as busy as ever, time just keeps flying. I need to remember to stop and really enjoy the trip!

This isn't really an update, just a worry/vent post... feel free to skip it, I won't be offended ;)

Under a month to go and I should be super excited about that... and I am. But now I might have a problem.
Starting on Thursday, my back was very very sore. I took some Advil, and felt great. Friday was the same. Yesterday, my back felt ok but my neck was so sore I couldn't turn my head. Today, I woke up to no pain at all in my back or neck. Yay! BUT, both my knees are swollen and I can hardly bend them. I can't kneel at all (which made working with animals all day very difficult!) and my mobility is gone.

At first I thought it was all because I hard started working out and was taking it pretty seriously. But this is way beyond muscle soreness. I have a Dr. appt tomorrow, but I am so nervous! If my knees don't shape up, I might be enjoying Disney from the view of a weelchair...

Oh my goodness! I will definitely be praying for you. :( When you get a chance, be sure to keep us updated!

Ahh, Joyce!! Hoping you heal up fast! I think you're definitely doing the right thing by going to the doctor-- don't want anything minor to turn into something serious. Let us know how it goes.

Hope you heal up fast and that it is just the exercising. Let us know how it goes at the docs

oh no!! i hope it doesnt end up being anything too serious!! please let us know how your appt. goes!
