What's better than a honeymoon? TWO Honeymoons! 8/30 57 hours/13 months to go!

Oh my goodness! I'm just dying over the cuteness! What adorable little additions - even if they are temporary. ;) Hmmm...I'm not very good at naming pets. But, since this is a Disney board and all...I say let's go with some Disney names.

How about...
Simba
Raja
Fasa (you, know...short for Mufasa)
umm....and I can't think of another one. I was going for a kind of exotic cat theme. I'm so creative, right? :lmao:

Phew, you all are very kind! I was expecting at least a little bit of shock at the skyrocketing animal numbers in our household!

Our photo shoot was cut a little short by a dead camera battery (not to self: buy an extra battery before Disney). But I did manage to capture them somewhat... so here they are. Name them, please!! The kittens are ALL boys and they are really hard to tell apart. But when I have them all together, I know who's who.

Mommy cat:

She is such a good mom! And she's a very sweet girl, purrs a lot and likes to be held. When you see the kittens, you'll have a pretty good idea what the dad must've looked like :rotfl:

Kitten 1:

the one on the right. He's one of the bravest.

Kitten 2:
kitten2.jpg

A little more reserved, but very curious and playful.

Kitten 3:
kitten3.jpg

The shyest one. But I think he is the cutest (don't tell the others I said that!)

Kitten 4:
kitten4.jpg

He's funny and he loves to play with toes! Probably the most outgoing of all of them.

That's the crew!

OMG :goodvibes All I can say is........I want one, or two, or three, or all of them! They are too dang cute!

Those are some cute babies!!

Have you come up with names yet or still waiting on suggestions??

They are pretty stinkin cute, huh? They're also growing like weeds! Looks like they'll be ready to head back to the shelter for adoption pretty soon. I hope when they do that they find homes really quickly... it's tough bringing them back!

Thanks for the name suggestions!! I ended up using names from a couple of different posts: Here's what they're called:

Mommy cat is Belle
Kitten 1 is O'Malley
Kitten 2 is Rajah
Kitten 3 is Mickey
Kitten 4 is Stitch

Stefy, the Aristocats names were great! We just had a group of kittens named after them, though (Duchess is still waiting to find a home at the shelter)

:yay: Yay you called one Stitch, my plan to have him dominate the world is working  but seriously great name choices, I am glad we could be of help :goodvibes

I love that you had a group named after the Aristocats, I hope Duchess finds a home soon :)

Yay for O'Malley! Here's hoping they get homes very quickly-- I'm sure they will. They're such cuties!

I love the names and I am sorry I missed the process. They are all such cute cats (and I am not even a cat person!)

Stitch is a total 'stitch' he is very cute, but a little crazy!

Naming them was so much easier with input from other people! I name so many cats, sometimes I just can't think of anything new... O'Malley is a great name!

Yay! I'm glad Rajah was a winner! :woohoo:

Thanks for the idea!

Haha, that's ok Paula! I needed to start calling them something quick because I didn't want to end up not being able to tell them apart.

I found this picture that I uploaded on photobucket and forgot to ever post about it when I was talking about our last WDW trip back in 2007:

P1010141.jpg

Doesn't that look like the saddest person you ever saw? What could possibly be happening on Splash Mountain that would make me feel that way?

P1010145.jpg

Does that help explain it? We were stuck in the Zip-a-Dee-Doo-Da scene for a really long time. They play that music really loud, which is a good thing when you are floating by at a good clip but a bad thing when you are parked right in front of the speakers. Eventually a CM came by to make sure everyone was staying in their boats and we all begged him to have the music turned off which he said was not possible. Though a few minutes later, it was off. But the chickens were all still dancing and the noise from that was also very loud!
After an even longer time, they came and evacuated us off the boats. A fellow rider took this picture of us:
P1010143.jpg

before we were escorted back stage and told that no pictures would be allowed. It was so strange to see how completely different the park is just on the other side from where guests can see. The CMs handed out fast passes to use at any ride in MK at any time as we headed back into the park. So here's hoping SM doesn't go kaput on us again!

And this is completely unrelated, but something I forgot about until I just saw the picture:

Ben thought it was so cool that there was a mail box in the World Showcase at Epcot. He insisted that we buy a postcard after our dinner at Cape May Cafe so we could go back and mail it from there. The funniest part is that we mailed it to ourselves... it never even occurred to us to send it to a friend or family member like normal people do when on vacation. :rotfl:

Ooof, I got stuck on Splash once, too. Not fun-- we were stuck on one of the small hill inclines for about 10 minutes. It was when we took my twelve year old cousin and she was freaking out-- had to remain calm for her sake, but I was NOT very happy!
LOL-- I love that you mailed the postcard to yourself! :lmao:

Too funny about SM! I would love for something to break on me so I could see the inner workings of the park. Although-- I hope that I don't have to listen to a song that long to do it!

We are planning on mailing something to ourselves from Hogsmeade at WWoHP, so I don't think mailing yourself something from Epcot is strange! Sounds like a great, cheap souvenir to me!

While we were sitting there, I wondered about the people who were stuck in the different parts of the ride.

I think it would've been better if we had stopped in a different scene where there was more to see. Like the part where the bunny is sweeping the steps and they are talking about Br'er Rabbit. That's a nice peaceful place, not like the boat full of singing chickens.

It was neat to get a behind the scenes look. It would've been better if they could have gotten us off the ride quicker. We were sitting there for a long time!

I wonder if Ben will insist on mailing something from Hogsmeade, too..

On a whim, bought some t-shirts today from the disneystore.com
I never start a trip with Disney clothes, but usually buy some things in the parks. I thought it would be fun to have these from the get-go. I think they're pretty cute... hope they fit!

Now I just need to find something tropically to wear to dinner at 'Ohana...

I've also been thinking of trying to book 'something special'. I don't know if it will be something we do (like a segway tour, or a photo shoot) or something we'll get- like this:
imageload

Ears to the Bride and Groom

Hats off to the happy couple! Our champagne tray includes our exclusive Iron Horse sparkling wine, two types of cheese spread, crackers, chocolate and two Disney themed glasses. Topping it off is a set of bride and groom 'ears'. His, a top hat, hers a sequined headband with veil, both designed with that famous Mickey silhouette.

This looks so cute! Though since they don't list the price, I'm thinking it costs a butt load of money.

Hmmm.... something to think about...

I saw those shirts when I almost bought a couple myself. I just couldn't justify the cost when our money is so tight right now. :sad2:

It must have been a long time if you weren't even excited to see backstage! I get antsy when we stop for just a couple minutes waiting to go down the drop though.

There's a mailbox in WS?! Where is it at?! We'll definitely have to send a postcard to my inlaws on our trip b/c they sent us one when they were in SD last week. :)

P.S. We booked an ADR for The Wave too. The menu intrigues me. I can't wait to try it!

That wedding set looks so cute! If you find out the price let me know! And I love the shirts, too! :thumbsup2

Your SM story is hilarious! The funniest things seem to happen to you! :lmao:

OMG, I'd lose my mind if I got stuck where you did on Splash! :scared1:

Love the shirts. They're very cute. :goodvibes

Ears to the Bride and Groom looks awesome. I think you should get that and wear the hats during a photo shoot. :rolleyes1 :cutie:

Love the new purchases, esp the Toy's tee :thumbsup2

Yikes at being stuck at that specific point, I would have been the same as you. Can you imagine getting stuck on IASM, would be worse!!!

Love the Ears to You gift basket, perfect for celebrating your Disneymoon :goodvibes

Love the new t's. I always buy more ahead of the trips than on. That way I have them to enjoy for the trip. Usually, things that I buy on the trip just come home and sit on a shelf..

I think it is interesting how often people do get stuck on rides. It makes it somewhat of a consolation that you get to see so much of the ride not normally seen as you are escorted off, but still...it can be a bit scary too. We got stuck on Thunder Mountain Railroad once.. It was so cool to walk "the tracks and sidewalk" near the ride. We could see each little snake etc. very well. What was scary was why the ride stopped and the fact that it caused injury within the month that we were there.

If you find out the cost of the wedding package, please do post it. DD and her disneymoon and all...would be nice to know about options like that.

Love the shirts! They are so cute. I don't have any disney shirts, but I really like those designs... maybe I will have to see what they have as well!
