What's better than a honeymoon? TWO Honeymoons! 8/30 57 hours/13 months to go!

IOA:
Mythos - one of my fav TS in the US area

US:
Mel's - really good/affordable burgers for a CS

City Walk (where we normally eat most meals when we stay there):
Nascar - really good sports bar type food
Margaritaville - the food is OK, but of course you have to go for a margarita
Pastamore - I'm Italian, so I'm picky about Italian food, but we all loved this place; it's a really modern spin on Italian food
NBA City - really good burgers and chicken strips; just a laid-back atmosphere
Bubba Gump - great fried shrimp

Hope that helps!!

Sorry to hear that you had to cancel Le Cellier! Have you kept trying to get another ADR? At least it is something you can look forward to trying in the future!

Yeah, I keep checking for reservation times-- I am hoping that when the 45 day mark comes some people will cancel their trips because of they payment. We'll see, but I'm not completely heartbroken. We have plenty of other good places to eat! =)

I know that you will have a great time!

Yay, another good review for HDDMR! That is quickly becoming a highlight for me on this trip!

Hey sorry I've been MIA.

Loving your lists of must do's. That pastry from the France bakery looks soooo good :teeth: You are going to have a fantastic time :goodvibes

No prob, Stefy- you've been busy (still can't believe how beautiful your new venue is!)

Miguel and I are planning to do the same thing for our Disneymoon - try new things! We definitely have a routine that we follow while we're there and we don't deviate too much, but with all of that extra time it's going to be nice to have the opportunity to experience some new things! :thumbsup2

A Disneymoon is a good reason to start trying new things at WDW. But it's hard not to repeat things that are so much fun. It's all about finding a balance between old favorite and new experiences, I guess!

Thanks, that is very helpful! I think we will end up eating at City Walk quite a bit. I could go for a margarita from Margaritaville right about now... it's hot here!

That is true- one restaurant can't make or break your trip! Though it would be a nice bonus if you can sneak back into Le Cellier!

Lookit that! What does it say? I think it says 45. Would that be 45 days till we go to Disney? Yes, it would! Well... in the interest of keeping this pre-trip report honest, I feel like I should clarify that in 45 days we'll be headed to Universal Studios.

Our countdown calendar is a little dry erase board on our fridge. We used it to countdown to the wedding, too. The art work credit goes to Ben. Though I write the numbers some days.

On a related note, I paid the balance for the trip today (hey, we're almost 45 days out, remember?) Now I'll be waiting anxiously for our travel documents to arrive!

I finally feel like it's almost here. Even little mundane things seem more exciting. For example, I usually hate doing the schedule at work, but I can't wait to start August's because that means it's almost time for our trip!!

I like your count down calendar. The artwork is impressive. I worked on ours today. It had to be a bit more interactive to involve our 5 year old, but it has no cool art work.

Yay for paying off the balance, you know that once that's paid off you are even closer to your trip :goodvibes

Love your countdown calendar, Ben's drawings are very good :goodvibes

What a cute countdown calendar! Nice artwork, too! :thumbsup2

You hubby is super talented! His pics are great!!

Ben says 'thank you!' He takes a lot of pride in his dry-erase marker skills.

Thanks! It is simple, but does the job!
What kind of countdown did you make?

It was so nice to get the confirmation and see the zero balance due! September is getting closer!

There are five more cats in our house now. :scared1:

I couldn't find a foster home to take a mom cat and her 4 kittens, and they had been at the shelter waiting for too long. So now they are in our spare room. But before anyone thinks I am a weirdo sicko cat lady, they will all be going back to be adopted when the kittens are 8 weeks old (about 2ish weeks from now).

I am going to need help naming these ones, though... I'll post pictures soon and maybe all of the lovely folks reading this can give me some creativity? Pretty please :)

I would never call you a weirdo sicko cat lady. I have too many cats... It is such a long story as to how I have so many, so I wont bore you with all the detail. However, I have share som...I have taken in abandoned kittens. The intent was to only foster them. They were found under a bush at about 12 hours old. Obviously there had been some sort of attack and two of the four were injured. Mom was no where to be found. The one that had the most severe injuries did not make it. That left three... they were so darn cute and even though we already had cats (yes plural..cats...I told you I have too many) I could not part with them since I had done the feedings every 2 hours, cleanings, medicine. It was a lot of work. Well...to end was should have been a shorter story for you, one went missing about a year ago. (I suspect that someone snagged him since he was VERY beautiful and I thought I saw him recently). A second one (the one that was also injured is not long for this home. I wonder quite seriously if he suffered brain damage from the attack. He spins in circles..almost uncontrollably and sprays on EVERYTHING. (yes he is fixed) We are currently replacing flooring and drywall because of the severity of his damage. He has been banished to the outside. He is loved by my dd though, and if and when she moves out...she will be taking him. I just worry that he will damage any apartment she gets.

Thanks! It is simple, but does the job!

I will post pictures to my PTR. I took them...I just have to get them uploaded.

Aww bless you, you have a heart of gold :goodvibes

Can't wait to see pics and help you name them :)

Phew, you all are very kind! I was expecting at least a little bit of shock at the skyrocketing animal numbers in our household!

Our photo shoot was cut a little short by a dead camera battery (not to self: buy an extra battery before Disney). But I did manage to capture them somewhat... so here they are. Name them, please!! The kittens are ALL boys and they are really hard to tell apart. But when I have them all together, I know who's who.

Mommy cat:

She is such a good mom! And she's a very sweet girl, purrs a lot and likes to be held. When you see the kittens, you'll have a pretty good idea what the dad must've looked like :rotfl:

Kitten 1:
kitten1.jpg

the one on the right. He's one of the bravest.

Kitten 2:
kitten2.jpg

A little more reserved, but very curious and playful.

Kitten 3:
kitten3.jpg

The shyest one. But I think he is the cutest (don't tell the others I said that!)

Kitten 4:
kitten4.jpg

He's funny and he loves to play with toes! Probably the most outgoing of all of them.

That's the crew!

Aww bless they are so cute :cutie:

I think mommy should be called either Duchess or Belle

Kitten 1 you could call Toulouse as he was brave and acted like an alley cat.

Kitten 2 you could call George after Curious George

Kitten 3 could be Berlioz as he was shy too

Kitten 4 maybe Stitch :stitch:

Oh that was fun trying to think of names :teeth: What you think?

They are ALL super cute-- especially Kitten 4. He looks darling in that picture!!
I don't have too many suggestions, but I feel like you have to name one Thomas O'Malley (O'Malley...the Alley Cat) :goodvibes
