What's better than a honeymoon? TWO Honeymoons! 8/30 57 hours/13 months to go!

Ooh, I love POFQ! How old are the kids you're traveling with? I sometimes think it would be fun to go to WDW with family so we can experience it with kids along (since we're not planning on having kids ourselves)

If Ben and I eat slow and have an extra beer or two, maybe we'll see you at Raglan Road!

We are actually thinking of changing our ressie to earlier, actually... We are going to HP that day and it closes at 6-- and we want to leave before the mass exodus from the park. =)

We are going with an 8 month old and a 4 year old. We have been/will be sending him mail from the different characters each week with shirts, movies, and autograph book, etc! He seemed to like getting the first one.

Although we do plan on having kids, we aren't having any luck in that department and we needed something to look forward to-- so we are taking my BIL's family with us and getting our kid fix there! Who knows-- maybe we won't want kids after we spend a week with two little ones! :rotfl:

Hey sorry I've been MIA hope all is well and your weekend is going good.

Blanche is adorable and what a little fighter. She looks like she is fitting in very well with the others :)

Congrats on getting ADR's for the HDDR, it does look like it will be alot of fun and their fried chicken looks sooooo good :)

If you see us at Raglan, be sure to say hello!

Sending mail from the characters is such a cute idea! I'm sure he's gonna love it. And I bet you'll have a blast with your BIL's family! I hope it's not too long before you there with your own children!:goodvibes

Hi Stefy! No worries, it's a busy time of year (especially when planning a wedding!).
Blanche is great- she and her big brother Otis play together for hours- so cute!

I broke down this weekend and told Ben about HDDR. So much for keeping it a secret! But he was really excited about it, so I'm glad I told him.

I didn't think I could be any more excited for this trip than I already was. But I have to say, I've been obsessed the last few days. Something switched in my head now that we are under 2 months and I can't stand it!

Want to know how crazy I'm getting?
-I started re-reading the Unofficial Guide 2010 again (which is actually really boring when you've just read it a few months ago...) Any suggestions for other books worth reading- I have the Hidden Magic one already and will be re-reading it soon, I'm sure!
-I check the Travel Channel compulsively for any Disney related shows.
-The highlight of my day is changing the number on our dry erase countdown calender.
-I log on to disneyworld.com just to look at my reservation. Not to change anything, just to look at it.
-I am actually looking forward to paying the balance on the trip because that means we're 45 days out.
-It's been 100 degrees for the past few days and I've been walking around pretending I'm in Disney World. For example- when I'm about to open a door and walk into a store, for a split second I can pretend I'm going into MouseGear at Epcot.
-I kinda want to start packing. This makes NO sense because these are the clothes I am still wearing on a daily basis.
-I'm already sad about September 13th.

I have officially gone off my rocker.

hah i do that now and i'm not going until MaY!! lol and i dont even have my reservations yet lol... i will totally be going crazy when my tripis finally 2 months out!

I do this too!!!! :lmao: Lately when I'm walking outside and thinking about how hot it is, I'll think now this is how it's going to feel at Disney next June! I'm glad I'm not the only one!

In fact, so many of these apply to me. I also love scouring YouTube for travel channel Disney shows! :thumbsup2

At least you've got some company in the deep end! :rotfl:

Aww bless you, I don't think you're crazy just super super excited :)

Part of going to Disney is the anticipation and build up before you even get there, makes it all the more sweeter when you are actually there :goodvibes

2 months out is a tough time- the planning is done and it's too early to start 'getting ready'. Way too much time to just start going nuts!

Haha! Yes!! I am not alone in my nutso-ness!

YouTube! Of course, I hadn't even thought of it... I bet there's also plenty of videos of attractions. Yay, something else to do for the next 56 days!

I think that is one of the things I like best about a Disney trip... I don't get this anticipation about other vacations, no matter how much I look forward to going. Something special about WDW that just consumes me!

just wanted to say hi. I hopped over from my PTR... I have some catching up to do, but I have to say I am very excited to read. My dd is getting married and planning to honeymoon in WDW. She has worked/volunteered at an animal shelter for several years. She also currently works somewhere else with animals.. but we don't talk about that....I can't talk about that. :scared: She is currently in college, hoping to be accepted at some point into Veterinary School.

So now I have to go back and get caught up!!!!

:welcome: thanks for checking out my PTR! Hope you enjoy it once you've read it ;)

Your daughter sounds a lot like me... though I changed my mind about vet school partway through my undergrad.
She must be really busy planning a wedding and going to school and working! Wedding planning is a big job- it took over a good chunk of my life for a year and a half!

I am finally starting to work on wedding pictures. I haven't found the motivation to start the daunting task of creating an album, but I'm ordering prints for a really neat collage frame we got as a gift. I'll share pics of that once it's done!

Going through pictures would be a lot easier if I didn't keep getting distracted by finding things like this on our hard drive:

That's Ben, his mom, and his sister on the carousel at MK. SO cute, right?
We don't have any pictures of me lying around the house. My parents must have them... I should try to track them down.

I just read through the trip report. Wow.

I loved reading about the wedding. Your dress is AMAZING! Your bridesmaids dresses were beautiful. The color scheme was beautiful. I love the games centerpieces. What a great idea!

Also, the picture of Ben on your honeymoon is priceless. That is so great that he would do that. You guys seem like such a great couple. So much fun.

The picture of your cat snuggling up to little Blanche is one of the cutest things ever. I love cats. They are so precious. I think it's really cool that you work in a shelter.

Now, onto the Disney related stuff. I can't wait to hear more about your upcoming second honeymoon!

i know im a little late but im in! popcorn::

No such thing as late! Glad to have you along! :wave2:

Thanks for reading and saying such nice things about us!

Ben always surprises me with the things he is willing to do. I have come out of my shell a lot because of him!

It's all Disney all the time in my brain right now, so I'll definitely be posting more about our trip (55 days, but who's counting :lmao: )

Yes, dd is terribly busy. This is why the trip in September will be good for her. She has never been this busy...gets up early goes to school, then home for only enough time to get ready for work and back out the door she goes. She doesn't come home until late. It really has her quite stressed. My poor baby...

Since I joined in so very late, I am months behind...but I have to comment on your engagement ring story. (that is how far along I am) My dd does sound like you... after having her ring for less than 24 hours..wearing it out to show friends when it had not been sized and was a wee bit big... she lost hers. No waves were involved though..;) She was standing at a counter when it flipped off so she had an idea of where it went off... lots of looking, sweeping the floors, checking the parking lot to see if it got tracked out, moving counters and displays..it was not found.... until the next day. Luckily, a nice clerk thought to feel under the counter near the floor. The ring had hit the floor and then bounced up into a hole on the underside of the cabinet. It would have been there for years since no amount of sweeping would have claimed it..nor was it in anyway visible. I am glad it was found, but I think it was the loss that was hard on her. By the next day things were calming and plans were being made. (her df did have it insured)

I hope your daughter can relax on the trip in September- sounds like she deserves to!

Thank goodness that clerk took the time to look for the ring! I'm sure even with getting it back, the stress of the ordeal was hard on her! I wouldn't wish that on anyone- it was awful!!

Ok, so I am a wee bit more caught up. Have to congratulate you on the wedding. The pics look wonderful. You have beautiful animals too.

I am super late but I just found your PTR.

Congrats on your marriage. Your wedding looked beautiful. :goodvibes

Your pets are adorable. I am a cat lover and have 4, our city limit. If I could, I'd have more and officially become "the cat lady." :rolleyes1

I need to go back and catch up so I don't know what you decided about ears/pins but I think that you should definitely wear them!

Looking forward to catching up and reading more. We will also be at Disney in September...arriving on the 10th.
