What's been your best buy at the expo?

It's getting close and I'm looking for way to spend money!

I have a SPIBelt so that's out. What did you buy at the expo that you really like? What do you regret?

I've seen marathon pins (limited to 750?!). Do they have half pins? Any other limited edition stuff? Anything left Friday afternoon?

I think the pins actually just say Marathon Weekend - I am not 100% but I think that is what mine said from this past year. I wonder if they have special pins for Goofy. Now that is something I would have to get. Also look for shirts that say the distance (13.1) and I did it - if you want something like that my suggestion is buy it before the race at the expo because they just may not have any left afteword. Happened to me last year since I didn't want to jinx myself by getting a 26.2 I did it shirt and then not be able to finish. Now I realize if I didn't finish I could always sell it on ebay.

My BEST purchases from the expo have been

#1 – A bobble head statue of a Running Mickey. Came out on the 10th anniversary race and sits on the front of my desk at home.
2 – My ventilator CW-X tights. I swear by the technology but the regular version of the tights can get a little warm when temps get into the 60’s
3- My 08 Goofy Challenge Tech Fabric running hat. They had two hats that year; one was cotton and the other a tech running cap. The tech caps were off to the side and not very visible – or in high quantity.

The regrettable – I really do not have any.

I have lots of marathon ‘limited edition’ pins that I purchased when I first started at Disney… they just occupy a dusty drawer in my desk. I really have not purchased much at the expo since 06 – the first Goofy.

I think you will still find stuff on Friday afternoon. Everything I mention above was purchased on Friday or Saturday.
