I tried looking at wdwinfo.com and allears.net, but neither have very substantial menus available. I'm trying to figure out costs for small things (mostly breakfast items) like milk, cereal or a bagel or something, and fruit. Anyone know where I can find this?

(I'm trying to compare the cost of ordering a few groceries for our room with a delivery fee versus paying probably a slightly higher cost at the food court... we're not huge breakfast eaters so we don't need anything big)

if you can.....pack some individual pkgs of cereal in your suitcases.....get some pop tarts.....and bring some little disposable bowls....this is instead of getting the grocery delivery. Bagels were about 2.59 a piece and 50 cents for the cream cheese....You can buy certain items at the store near the food court. The same with milk...Or you can get the individual milks at the food court. Fruit ran about 1.00 to 1.29 for an orange or banana. I dont know if the prices have gone up again..but this gives you an idea of the cost.

Boo, that is pretty pricey! That's a good idea to bring some stuff ourselves... we're probably already paying for a 3rd piece of luggage (we get 2 free total) anyway, so we might as well fill it up all the way. ;) I also just read somewhere that gardengrocer.com (where we were thinking of ordering from) has a minimum of $40, and I don't think we'd need to spend quite that much.

Any idea if the Food Court has fresh CUT fruit (like cut melon pieces) or is it just whole fruit?

I was just there about a month ago and I saw a man who had his own loaf of bread using the toaster. That is one way to get a cheap breakfast. :goodvibes

In the grab and go section of the food courts ....they have fresh cut up fruit and grapes too...I think that I purchased one each day at some point..I like the mixture of watermelon, cantalope and grapes ....delicious

are you using Magical Express .....or renting a car or taking a towncar service?

The towncar that we used has a half hour stop at a store ...you could pick up your purchases that way too and get a case of water or soda....

But if you do get cereal boxes....get the disposable bowls to put it in ...they dont usually provide them for items not purchased in the food court.....
I also saw alot of people taking pop corn pkgs and putting them in the microwave in the food courts......they charge a dollar for one pkg and you can get a box of 12 for a few bucks at walmart.....those fit really flat against the side of the suitcases.....

We also have a budget board here on the dis that has ideas on this too..
have a great trip

Thanks for the info! I don't mind paying for breakfast foods if it's just much easier to do so, and the food court may end up being the easiest option for most stuff. We have the DDP, too, but we're planning on those being lunch and dinner, which are definitely our bigger meals. And yeah, we're using the Magical Express thing so no car to take trips out... it'll be our first on-site trip and we won't even be able to get out! (of course we will if we NEED to, but I'm hoping we can just stay on Disney property)

If you are on the dining plan, you can use some of these items as snack credits - I think most of the breakfast rolls, pastries, bagels and beverages. I am not sure about the cereals. The food court is pretty crowded in the mornings between 8:00 and 10:00. There are lines for both the breakfast meals and the check-out. We brought some breakfast items in our suitcases and ate in the room to save time. You can buy a half-gallon on milk in the resort store, which we kept in a cooler in our room. At the end of the trip, we had some unused CS credits on the dining so I brought some breakfast meals back to our room in the morning. The dining plan was a little confusing in the food court as to what could be used as a snack credit. I could not use a side of bacon even though it was only about $ 2.00. I tried to use a cinnamon roll for a CS meal on our last day and was not allowed. We had one CS meal left as we were about to get on the bus to the airport.
