What's a zebra dome?

I'm reading the reviews for Boma and everyone is mentioning them.

We tried zebra domes for the first time 3 weeks ago, and yes, they are beyond description. I believe that they are by far, one of the best desserts that I've ever tasted.

They are a thin piece of sponge cake on the botton. Over the top is a coffee (kahlua) mousse. They are in a hard chocolate shell.

I found ours to be dry and very unimpressive. They are a favorite here, but their build up was one of the reasons we left Boma so disappointed. After things like "one of the best desserts I've ever tasted" I was expecting something.......richer and fresher.

But what do I know, I don't like Krispy Kremes, either.

yep - look where the 'cold desserts' are.

They didn't have them at Mara when we arrived for lunch there. In fact the only desserts they had in the cold case was the paw print brownie. By the time we were done eating they had restocked the cold dessert case and they had some then. I much preferred the paw print brownie, though. That's my opinion as a true chocolate lover anyway.

thanks so much. we havent been able to fit boma (for dinner) into our schedule (only breakfast), but i wanted to try these.
