I will reply in a second to all of you! I wanted to say, I finally pieced together my Disney past!! I went to WDW about 13 years ago. I do not remember barely any of the trip.. or any of my childhood to be honest. So it has been killing me, not remembering my favorite place or where we stayed! I called my Uncle who took me on the trip, and I asked where we stayed. He could not remember, but he did remember that we did not have a car, and that we took the "tram" everywhere.. the tram was the monorail! What I could remember was lots of dark wood.... so after thinking for 30 seconds of detective work, I have come up with the Polynesian! It has dark wood, and is a monorail resort!!

Ok, so the point to all this.... Values are a great choice for when you have kids! My uncle spent all that money on the poly and I don't even remember it! But I bet if we had stayed at a place like ASMO I bet I would have remembered it! Granted we are upgrading this trip and I shouldn't talk smack. But we are doing that more for ourselves then the kids. Although I think Kayla will remember the pool!

Sorry, I am having a weird day.. it is very odd when you can not remember your child hood! I wanna see if I can find our disney pics and piece together what I was actually able to see! I do remember going to Epcot, and being a brat because it was "boring" ( I love epcot now!) .. Hopefully I find the pics, and a scanner too!

Do you still have that code? DH & I are headed to the mall tomorrow to shop a sale, & I figured I'd get Conner's Easter outfit & try on some Crocs while I'm there. If they're cheaper online, then I'll go with those!

I know I have some.. very few were taken... I yelled at my family today for this! I honestly think I was meant to be a photographer the way I am obsessed with taking pictures...needless to say I am horrified with my family for not taking more pictures!!!!!!!

Jenn, I hope you find at least a couple old pictures....and the POLY of all places. I want to stay there SO bad!

I only have one picture from the first trip I took in the 70's. My friend lived in Orlando at the tiime and her cousins took us to MK. I was in my teens but I still remember some of our visit and how obsessed I was with collecting bags. I had a zillion of them back then. I think I still have one or two from Disney. Back then they were paper.

I'm glad we are both picture freaks too because Joe hates it when I stop as he calls it "every two feet" to take a picture of something.

Sophia, it was the Disney INN, not the poly! So if anyone has pics in here of the disney inn, pleaseeeeee show them! I would like to see some of those mk pics sophia! and the bags too! show em!

I would not even begin to know where to start looking for the bags or the pictures. I bet they are in the storage locker somewhere. I try not to keep a lot in the house because it's so small. Don't want it to be cluttered.

Tell me about it. I so want to go through EVERYTHING in the attic and the storage locker and get rid of stuf. I mean, I have probably at least 50 percent or more of EVERYTHING in 9 years worth of Partylite books. Who the hell needs that? I had parties for my friend when she sold it and made a boat lot of free stuff. I am telling you, it is ridiculous. I NEED to do a yard sale but SOMEONE in this house groans when I even mention it!!!!

My landlord has a yard sale every weekend that gets a LOT of traffic! Feel free to bring stuff down this trip and i'll put it away for you in my attic!

we would have to come a week early, and then we would miss John's bday [and that sweet $75.00 gift card] I am kinda hoping to do a summer trip around your neck of the woods next summer though! or early June anyways! I wonder how cheap I could do it for!

If you went back to a value resort versus a moderate you could probably stay twice as long for about the same price! Maybe then for real ya'll could stay for two weeks!? You're diving so far down anyway why not stay longer? Just sayin'....

I don't know how much stuff runs for around here really. I just booked that insanely huge villa for C's party and it was $156 with tax for one night with their "sunshine" rate. I'd say just search for those kinds of deals. You guys don't need something that big unless another family wanted to share. Heck, if you got a big group up and rented the 4 bedroom villa even at full price that's like $100 per family! Not bad. Three of the four rooms have oceanfront/view balconies! If you don't care for being on the ocean look into resorts around Broadway at the Beach. That's a fun place to stay near!

Agreed, only problem is, we couldn't get that much time off of work.. or be able to afford that much time off of work. We take unpaid vacations

Hahaha that is too crazy! We're doing ok, how about you lady? Daniel is doing alright, hanging in there. The Aspie/ADHD isn't new. He's been in Early Intervention/Special Ed since he was 2. Fun stuff... Our next trip wasn't supposed to be until Nov 29 BUT I decided we needed one ASAP. I was talking about the smell of Main St and it just hit me like a ton of bricks. We NEED to go back! So I checked the passholder rates and decided it's in our budget. We're going June 2nd-9th.

So....when the heck are you coming back to Drama Island?

I'd like to do deluxe dining next year for two weeks! Then add on 1-2 extra days for the drive down. I hope you can make it to my area next Summer some time. I am about to upload more pics from DS's party. You guys would love that place! My neighbors rented a two bedroom unit. It was cool too. Ocean view not ocean front though. It was set up cute!
