Yes, DH is a teacher. Well, a teacher looking for a job as most schools in our area are laying off because of the economy. He is private tutoring right now; he talks about how these kids wouldn't need the extra help if their parents actually worked with them at home. It's sad.

So, that is wonderful you are so involved! My mom was always there for everything with me, which is a BIG reason why we're so close now!

and the reason you are taking her to DISNEY!!!! Sucks that DH needs a job tell him to keep his head up, I LOVE male teachers!! and there are not nearly enough!

AWWWWWWW! That's awesome! I wish I had done that, but the farthest I got was Stage Crew LOL! Can't wait to hear what happens! Like you said, even if she doesn't get a lead role she'll have more experience for next time! That's so great!

Oh, and I forgot to tell ya....we are from Jacksonville, Alabama. I work at Jacksonville State University in that alumni department....so football season is my busiest time of year!

Oh, and thanks for the advice about Biergarten....and doing something different and something for myself! I think I'm going to make that reservations!

Know what tomorrow is.... my 180 mark... Just for giggles I am going to try and call to make adr's...

Also, I paid my trip off in full today! I feel guilty as all get out, but relieved at the same time. I mean we still have almost 6 months until it happens, which means I have plenty of time to cancel At least now that, that part is paid off the trip is most likely going to happen! Now I just need to start saving for gas,souvenirs,MNSSHP tix, and all the other little stuff that comes along the way [think summer clothes for the kids,sun block..etc]

I feel like I should be more excited about this announcement, but I am having one of my days..bleck

I was tempted to call today, but didn't want to deal with the disappointment!

Sorry LOL I changed our booking to Sept. 12-21, but the final dates will depend on what flights I get kwim? It'll be somewhere in that date range though We're staying at ASMu - can't wait for those pool games I'm thinking about doing a PTR, but if I do, I'll be doing it on another site

Working in the alumni department means that I am most busy throughout the football season. Lots of our alumni chapters have activities and reunions during the football season. In addition, I have a side job as a musician. We are possibly going to be around the Mobile/Pensacola area this fall. We would LOVE to go to WDW while our kids are out of school for fall break, but it just so happens to be my "Can't Miss Work" time of the year.

Wanted to drop in and say HELLO! It seriously sucks that we will miss one another by a week and a few days! Are you going to bounceback in 2010 if it's offered? If so let's make a plan NOW. I can't change things now because we're doing a Grand Gathering with other people (which I can not wait for and if you come early you can join us!!!) The MNSSHP party starts on the 4th. I might add on two nights so we can do that too. It was so much fun last year! Right now we're August 23rd through Sept 2nd. Well, I'd have to add on 3 nights. But that's okay. If Sidney doesn't mind I'm up for it. Then we'd leave on the 5th.
