What do you advise us to do with our vehicle between resorts?

We drive into Orlando and stay one night to stay at ASM.

We have CM breakfast at 8am at the CR.

We're going to MK until afternoon.

Then we're checking in to BWV at 4pm for the rest of the week.

Our luggage will stay in the van until we check into BWV.


Can I leave my van at CR parking lot and ride monorail into MK?

Or should I drive van from CR to MK parking lot while family rides monorail to MK and meet up with them?

I think they'll only give you a pass for a couple of hours at CR if you are only there to eat. Moving the van to the MK parking lot may be your best bet. Others may have a more creative approach.

You probably will want to leave CM then head over to BWV to check in. You can check in early and get your parking passes etc you just may not be able to get into your room. Once checked in, put the parking pass in your car and use Disney transportation back to MK. You could meet up with the rest of the family there if you wish. Only other suggestion is the example you already stated of going to the MK parking lot to park in between. Seems to me it would be better just to go to the BWV and leave car there. You may even get a suprise and be able to get into your room. G/L and have a great time.

How early can we do the early check in?

As early as the day before? We do arrive mid to late afternoon the day before. We could check in there after we check in at ASM. All we planned to do that evening is hang out at DTD.

Our CM ADR is at 8am. If I could get ready and head over to BWV while the rest of the gang is getting ready, I'd do that before CM.

We'd like to get in MK as they open.

I would just pay the $9. and take my car with me to MK.

ASM will give you a parking pass to let you park for MK for free.
Valet is usually $7+tip.
Earliest you can check in is 6 am (at least at the resorts, DVC can be a bit different--I know check in time is at 4PM not 3PM).

I would say park at MK (TTC) and take the monorail to CR for breakfast (probably the fastest and still free). Plus, you should get a really good parking spot at MK!

Or go to BWV, check-in, leave your van there, take the bus to MK, walk to CR. That's going to take a lot longer and there may not be enough time to get to an 8am ADR.

The only problem with checking in early at the Boardwalk is how to get to the Magic Kingdom from there. How early will the Boardwalk buses start running to get to the Magic Kingdom? It's an easy five minute walk from there.

To easy any problems with all the running around, the valet parking is probably the best bet.

I agree with TiggerAllie. Park at the Ticket and Transportation Center. Take the Monorail to CR. CR monorail to MK. MK directly to TTC. Drive to Boardwalk.
Fastest way hands down. Make sure you have your ADR number available. You might not be allowed through the turnstile prior to park opening without it.

Better yet....park at TTC, monorail (resort monorail) to CR for Chef Mickey's, walk to MK from CR (much faster than taking the monorail) then monorail to TTC for drive back to BWV.
