What Would You Think,If Someone Had Said This To You?

I called NC Department of Revenue yesterday because I could not get ahold of my agent and I got the operator.She was Very,Very Rude to me and did not help me at all.I called back this morning and asked if my agent was in today and she was very rude again,and told me to hold I heard her say you are the same B**** that called yesterday.I was floored,I got so mad and askd her if that is what she said and she told me she did not say anything like that.I asked to speak to her supervisor and I told her what she said,she really did not say much about it.

What would you do if this happened to you?I am so mad and she actually made me cry.I was not mean or rude to her in any way to make her say that.

Unbelievable. There's probably not much you can do.
Perhaps you could mention it to your agent when/if you get through to them?

Find out whom the Director of that office is, and write a letter.

Im sick and tired of customer services issues, such as these, with Gov't office's. I dont understand why McDonalds employee's seem to be trained better, move faster, and are more helpful then your local goverment office.

I'm so sorry, she had absolutely no reason to do what she did. Definitely send in a letter, something like that needs to be addressed.

OK, I just called back and was gonna get the address and the Supervisor I spoke with earlier answered the phone .She give me the operators name and the address,and she also assured me that the problem was being taken care of.She said she could not believe she said that.
So I will write my letter and see.
I would Love for her to get fired.

I'm not surprised, the NC DOR has the absolute worst bunch of employees available to man. The problem is the are required to hire certain groups of employees whether they have the appropriate skill level or not. They can't do their jobs so they put them on the phone so you get the worst they have available when you call. Before eveyone starts gripping yes I know this happens for a fact.

These types of things need to be handled when they are happenging.

One of your replies could have been: Oh, is that you, Mother?, "B****, well, I was informed that you were the best qualified to detect it., or B****, did you just call me a B****, no, it's not B****, it's _____________________.

If you shock a person after you hear them say or do something like this, it humiliates them and reduces them to nothing..... then, they are like putty in your hand.

This way, you laugh it off and they will think twice about doing it to someone else. The best lessons are the ones that humiliate us.

Oh You dont know how bad I wanted to say something like that.I kept my cool because I did not want to stoop to her level if the call was being recorded.

I will be writing a letter and I do hope to have her job.That woman does not need to be answering the phone or even be able to work with the public at all.
