Hi-- just trying to plan and wanted to see what you all thought of two new (since we've been there) attractions.. what do you think of Goofy's Country Dancin' Jamboree and Mickey's Philharmagic? What would you rate each on a scale from 1-5 (5 being the best)?

thanks!

Goofys Jamboree-4 The only reason its not a 5 to me is it does seem to get a bit chaotic with everyone dancing around. I dont know how they could make it more organized without eliminating the fun though. I think its really neat, but my kids tend to get a little overwhelmed by it all.

Mickeys Philharmagic-5 We were really impressed by this. I enjoy all the music and there are some neat special effects.

Don't know about GCJD, we missed it. But MP gets a 5 on a scale of 1-5. It is a don't miss in my eyes (I love the 3-d stuff). Everyone in my family loved it.

Missed Goofy, but Philharmagic is a 7 on a 1-5 scale. Best thing Disney has done in a very long time IMO.

We'll experience Mickey's Philharmagic for the first time in Sept--really looking forward to it. Goofy's Show is great for us, because our son LOVES Woody, Jessie and Bullseye (Goofy, Chip and Dale, too, but he is a certified Toy Story FREAK!!!). Short of going to the Studios, and we have not yet had time to do that on our short weekend trips, it is the only place he can see Woody, Jessie and Bullseye. Be aware (if it is an issue) that the characters do not pose for pictures with your kids, though they do a "pose" on stage, which they tell you is for picture purposes. The characters do dance and interact somewhat with the children during the show. Be sure and sit on the floor downstairs, otherwise you will miss out!

I could have sworn I already answered this thread........ am I having a feeling of deja vu or is this a repeat of the same thread?? I'm losing it...

Philharmagic I'd give a 5.
Goofy's Jamboree I'd give a 1-2 for adults only, but on the trip that wasn't solo (ie: had the kids) they thoroughly enjoyed it and we enjoyed relaxing and taking a break off our feet while watching them enjoy themselves- so with kids I'd give it a 4-5. :)
