What sorts of foods, dishes and other theme recipes would you make for a Star Wars movie night?

We are watching Attack of the Clones and see Padme bringing Anikin Blue Milk, think Luke drinks it too. I'd love a fun fresh fruit for blue milk healthy recipe, I could do a Blueberry Smoothie with banana but that could be purple and have no idea how to get a real blue through natural products.

Lots more Star Wars movies & shows to go :)

You need a copy of the Star Wars cookbook. Lots of great ideas in there like Yoda Soda and Wookie Cookies and the like.
Really? First, didn't even know it was a thing but honestly, I should have expected it knowing the fan base. Second, are the recipes mostly cute or tasty, it is tough to find both?

So I looked and third question is which book is good, there are quite a few.

I didn't know there was more than one. This is the one we had when my kids were little. Lots of good memories. Can't really say if it will fit your needs, but it's really cute the titles they came up with for things.

I make my blue milk differently - there is a blue ice cream called "Mermaid" (Kroger brand) and we just make milkshakes with that. It is cotton candy flavored and actualyl pretty good. I don't much care for the blue or green milk they serve at the parks. The Galaxy's Edge cookbook might be have some good stuff in it. It has a lot of the stuff from the parks, plus a lot of other things too.

If you want a natural product that is a blue drink (or a powder add in) - butterfly pea flower. You can buy it as a tea or powder. Look up how it works b/c you can also change colors with add ins (like lemon juice turns it pink).

Oh my, excellent idea, I think this just got cleared with the FDA as a natural blue food coloring!

I bought some of this from Market Spice as a stocking stuffer last year and am not even sure it was ever opened. Completely forgot we had it on hand, thank you for the reminder!!!

Speaking of Star Wars treats, so we are hoping to go to WDW soon so how are Oga and Docking Bay? I was going to put Oga into my plans but it prompted for a credit card, to get reservations for a drink? Seems a bit extra so I baked off, thoughts?

I think it’s a one and done. Go for the atmosphere, but you have to purchase something. Drinks are very expensive, a few food items, you may have to stand , and you are limited to how long you can stay.

If I was making the meal, I'd have some roast porg (bone in-skin on rotisserie bird) and some portion bread (sourdough) and some naboo fruit (fruit salad served in half of a dragon fruit shell would be my concept) and yoda's stew (any root based veg stew). I might make Colo Claw Fish into a dessert (flavored fruit pearls or bobo or even jello pearls with a mousse or sorbet encased in a mirror glaze and you have that dish).

And one of the "milks" for a beverage, along with alcohol cocktails if you have 21+...

I believe the credit card is only to cut down on no shows. As long as you show up for your ADR, the credit card on file will not be charged. We like Oga's at DL. The bartenders are really fun!
