Okay two weeks ago I looked online at Airtran fares and they were 60 going and coming back from BWI to MCO. I watched them for 3 days and then BAM...the departure went up to 89 and the return is now 64. SO again..this week I watched them and they didn't go up or go down. So ..do you think I have a chance to get them lower than 89 for our departure? Should I just book them and if they go down ask for the credit to use in the future??? I can also JUST book the return for 64? OR Do I hold out a while longer? We are flying out on a Friday and returning on a Wed. It is not a busy time of year. I used to get 49 and 59 for that time of year. THANKS for any advice.

:thumbsup2

Book now. If they go higher, you are ahead, if they go lower, ask for a credit.

You should have booked weeks ago and now it is time to book.... Jan 21 is presidents weekend, I believe, so isn't super slow..... hence the slightly higher prices..... FWIW, I would love 89 and 64 from my airport....

President's weekend is in Feb. NOT Jan. Martin Luther King's b'day is not this weekend either. :confused3

I went ahead and booked last night. The sale ended at midnight. Glad I did....the 89 went up to 98 today and the 64 went up to 77. :thumbsup2 Also got to use a credit we had. SO it is ALL GOOD!!!

Like I said...... looks like a wide open weekend, nothing special going on! :rotfl2: Not sure where my brain was when I typed that...

I do know Airtran had been running a sale and prices in Jan were nice......
