I'm booked at POR for 9/30 - 10/4 with the AP rate of $99 per night (inclusive of tax). DH, after I already cancelled AKL with the AP rate of $139ish (can't remember) wants to switch back to AKL but there are no standard rooms with AP rate.

As of right now I can get a WL courtyard view room which, with the AP rate, is running about $200 or so per night. So my $397 for 4 nights at POR would become $825 for 4 nights at WL. DH is an admitted resort snob and loves his deluxes! So which of the following would you do and why? BTW, we have two little ones and will be spending midday in the room.

Option 1: stay at POR the whole time
Option 2: switch to WL courtyard
Option 3: do 2 nights at POR and 2 nights at WL

My DU agent is looking into the Contemporary, Beach Club and Boardwalk for me, as well. Thanks for your input!

Keep trying for AKL!
Hate to tell you - I got AKL standard view ($129/night) a few days ago for almost the exact same dates :confused3 Hope I didn't snag your room :earboy2: But at that time there were no water view room available at the AP rate. Last time I checked (today) there were. So keep trying!
Are you checking online on the Passholder site?

My DU agent is checking for me. Maybe I'll go check the passholder site...

THanks for the tip. And hey, you didn't take my room! ;) All's fair when it comes to getting great rates at Disney.

Besided, I'm planning on sticking with WL courtyard unless AKL standard or pool become available!
