What would you do?

I have 2 days before the rest of our party arrive. MK has the MNSSHP on both 'free' days we have. However, one of the days has Magic Hours in the morning. Thursday, October 12th the park is open from 9-7, and Friday (the 13th!!!) the park is open from 8-7 with the EMH. I am not concerned about leaving the park early because of the event, only concerned about crowd levels during the day.
Do you think it will be more crowded during the day on Friday because it's the 13th, and because there are Magic Hours? And also because it's a Friday and a weekend night?
Are we better off just going during the day Thursday? Then probably doing the pool or water park on Friday?

In your case, I vote for Thursday. That Friday will be a bit busier throughout the day.

We found it not busy at all during the day of MNNSHP last year and it was a Friday but it wasn't Friday the 13th. Also since party ticket holders can come in at 4pm it will get very busy then. If it is wasn't Friday the 13th I would say Friday but I would probably pick Thursday.

I vote for Thursday. Be sure to get there for RD. In my experience, we rode more rides on a party day at MK than on a non-party day and the crowds certainly seemed lower up until the party goers started entering at 4:00. From then until the party started the crowds were crazy!

Thank you, I agree with you all. We will get there for rope drop for sure, and just plan for the 'sleeper' attractions (which by the way, we LOVE) around the 4 pm mark-
Like Carousel, Tiki Room, Country Bears, even the Laugh Floor usually has no real wait. Maybe shoot some guns, lol. We will get in all the good stuff first thing in the morning.
Going from 8 am (at least that's when we would likely leave the room) to 7 pm is totally enough for us!! Plus, we are attending the MNSSHP on Sunday, so we aren't pressed to cover everything in one day.
