Hi, I have a dilemma

I have quotes for 2 rooms in the cheyenne or the sequoia lodge and a quote for a family room in the newport bay. All quotes are within £200. Which would you choose? :goodvibes:goodvibes

Also can you buy any half board plan no matter what hotel you stay in or are you restricted to buying standard in the cheyenne, plus in the sequoia etc.

Thanks for your help Jo:)

When I put this question to my girls they said New Port Bay without hesitation...I liked the Sequoia Lodge myself.....but your family might prefer the NPB!

I just love this part weighing up which hotel etc. no doubt you will get lots of advice on here!

Enjoy wherever you stay!

Thanks for your advice. I do like the sequoia lodge but it might be nice to try somewhere new. I am tempted to wait and see if we like the cheyenne when we go for a quick christmas visit but am a bit worried that all the newport family rooms might be booked by then - the excellent cast member on the phone today told me there are only 10 of them and they are very popular. I agree that weighing up all the options is half the fun.

I'd got for the cheapest option and then treat the girls to an extra character meal or present from the parks.

you can choose any half board meal plan, regardless of which onsite hotel you are staying at.

i agree with dlp steve. i would choose the cheyenne and have a treat for the girls

I vote for the Cheyenne as well.
I was pretty disappointed about the SL, i found it dark and sad, our Montana Room had a *lovely* view on the car park :sad2:

Hi, thanks for the advice, my head tells me we should really book the Cheyenne but I do quite like the look of the Newport Bay. I think we have ruled out the Sequoia because although we were happy there on our last 2 visits and it is nice to go back to somewhere you know it is the most expensive option so it makes no sense.

Thanks, I thought that was the case but when I do dummy bookings online it will only let me book the plan that matches the hotel I have chosen. Oh well I will just have to add it by phone.

Well we did it. We booked four nights at the newport bay for may half term. We decided seeing as the newport bay was only £70 more than the cheyenne we would try it. Thanks for all the advice.

I know its too late now, but for what it's worth, IMO, you did the right thing.
The Newport Bay is a lovely hotel and you will have a great time there :cool1:

We've stayed twice in the NPB family rooms and had a fab time! I really like the NPB (never stayed at the Cheyenne though) - I prefer it to the New York. Hope you have a lovely time!

Congratulations on booking!!

Thankyou all. We are really pleased with our decision so I think it was the right one. Now to get a second ticker!

What I try to remember is your only really in the hotel to sleep because you spend most of the time in the park or the village, you can still eat in other hotels restaurants. The Cheyenne is the most themed hotel in the whole of disneyland. I am staying there in 4 days however it is nice to think you can stay in a nicer hotel but I just try to remember we will hardly be there.

If you think you will spend more time in the hotel then pick the nicer one! xx
