What would you do?

We have 100 developers' points at Saratoga Springs to use before October. I could either do 4 nights (Sun-Thurs) towards the end of September for around 110 points and use my points to stay an extra night, or I could stay 2 nights (Fri-Sat) and then switch to another resort for a few days at Animal Kingdom Lodge. I feel like stay 4 nights at Saratoga Springs would be a better use of the points, but I really liked staying at the Animal Kingdom Lodge. Anyone who's stayed at SS, did you like it? I've never been there, so I just wanted to get some opinions.

We are trying to decide what to do with our DPs also. We are going in April and are trying to talk the kids into another trip this summer to use the DPs.
We have to work around the end of school and college orientation. My DH and DS have stayed at SS a couple of times and really liked it. To me, more days at Disney sounds like a better deal.

We just purchased DVC and have 170 developer points to use before October. DH wants to look into renting them to someone. I want to go to DL and stay a couple of nights concierge in the Grand Californian. When we purchased they told us the developer points were good at SSR and DL in Anaheim.
I've stayed at both SSR and AKL. I don't care for SSR the resort is sprawling and the pools are small. I don't like the location and the food choices are not so good (unless you want to go over to DTD). I like the rooms though, they're really nice.

SSR is a "condo" style resort, where AKV is more of a "hotel" style resort. SSR just has a completely different feel, and some like it, some don't.

Personally, I love SSR. I think the Turf Club is one of the best restaurants on sight, and I love being able to walk to DTD. The resort itself is just beautiful. If you like to walk, jog or play tennis, it's a wonderful location. The workout facility at SSR is the best on property, hands down.

Here are a few pics from our trip in the spring. We've stayed at almost every DVC resort, and this ranks at the top of DH's list. He's a runner, so it was a dream for him. He could run the grounds and over to OKW through the golf course and thought it was incredible!
