OK, I have made reservations at Ohana's for one of the nights for my next trip...this is my dilemma...Should I keep that reservation (BF and I don't have kids, but we've never been there before and wanted to check out the Poly--esp. since I've not been there since the early '90s) OR should we hit Pleasure Island on that night instead (I really want to check out the Adventurer's Club and he wants to go to 8trax)...We're going the week before Christmas...and our ADR would be a little on the late side.

So...Please tell me...What would YOU do?

I would eat at Kona instead of Ohana

Pleasaure island is not our fav. The last time we were there the crowd was sooo young......and I don't think we are too old.

I really like Ohana, I eat there almost every trip.

Agreed. Kona might be a better excuse to check out the poly for an adult couple. I think of 'Ohana as more of a with-kids or big-group sort of meal.

I don't see any reason why you couldn't have dinner *and* go to PI, as long as dinner is not late. A 6:00 PM ADR should be fine. You'll be done eating by 7:00, and at PI not much later than 7:45 or so, and PI doesn't really get going until 8, or even later. That said, our upcoming "couples only" trip has dinner at Raglan Road on our PI night, for ease-of-transportation.

Adventures' club is my absolute favorite place to go! i would suggest going to Kona for dinner and then going over if you want to do both things. other wise i would suggest ragglin road (my favorite) for dinner. make sure you check the schedule for Adventure's Club, it closes a little earlier than the other clubs and make sure to stay for the hoopla (i think it's at midnight)- it's the best part!

I really like Ohana. I wouldn't describe it as a place only for kids. The food is really good and if you're into MEAT you can't go wrong. However the menu for Kona looks really really good too.
I don't see why you can't do both PI and eat at/check out the Poly.
