What would you do if your teen daughter became pregnant???

Ya know! Where is DVCLiz when we need her?

She wanted us back on topic, and here we are. The only thing being discussed civilly is everyone's dislike of Air Supply. And that may turn ugly if I don't hear something good soon. Chuck might be a holdout. He may come through as a supporter yet.

Chuck, we'd love to hear your thoughts on Air Supply!

Otherwise, geez. If you boys can't play nice, the mods will take your toys away!
well, I worked security for Box Office and another promoter in my younger days, and yes I was security for them in Jackson,MS , Monroe LA and Shreveport LA, unfortunatly my boss at the time, "Sonny", as we called him, passed away about 7 yrs ago, and my pics and signed autographs all burned when my house did, but yes I do like them and now I have almost all of thier cd's, and Boston, Jimmy Buffet, Greatfull Dead, etc.... :teeth:

I couldn't tell you how many tears I cried to Air Supply back in the day. Too many to count, that's for sure. It's funny though, I like all the others you listed and still let them today. Not so for Air Supply however. Of course, I really don't remember shedding too many tears for Margaritaville. LOL That may be the kicker for my dislike today?

Edit: Oh, and I think I still have MANY of their cassettes. You've got the DVDs, that says you'd have at least rebought them. I don't even have a single MP3 :teeth:

Really you can make your post dissappear by unsubscribing to a thread? I did not know that. And you are the one that is badgering me. I replied to a comment and was jumped all over by the original commentor as well as your self.

And I sent you a pm because I did not want to point out in public that you were a liar and a hypocrite. I knew you would post it on here because you are trying to make an example out of me and single me out and you proved me right.

If it is true that you post about the topic dissappear when you unsubsribed then I do apologize for the liar comment.

I will reiterate that you are doing to me what you have accused me of which makes you a hypocrite.
oh well make sure it is size 13, so the shoe fits, anyway at least you left my friend alone, so feel free to pounce away, I have a tuff skin, I am a firefighter :thumbsup2

So did you find out if your post dissappeared? Bt the way, great job on getting that one thread closed the other day by attacking someone .:thumbsup2

And I figured that Wendy was your friend and that is why you jumped into this thread out of nowhere to attack me for having the audacity to disagree with one your friends.

You must feel mighty proud of yourself, big firefighter man, coming in and protecting your little lady friends.

gonna tell the age a bit but, I worked one for Night Ranger, several for Alabama, one for Conway Twitty and Randy Travis, all these in the mid to late 80's before I went into the army :teeth:

I was at Busch Gardens today riding the coasters and observing the ANIMALS. :) what would a lowland gorilla do if it's teenage lowland gorilla daughter became pregnant...? the world may never know.
Probably what the dolphins do that gets them sent to hell. They are male gorillas, after all.

This thread is going to get shut down.

I don't wanna have to argue with the animal rights people. They're pretty angry with everyone - especially you!

I don't like Night Ranger as much as I used to, but the rest are still top-notch.

I don't suppose you ever worked Toby Keith?

You would do a better job of protecting him if you could prove he did not lie about his post dissappearing. Just a thought...

I think you've got a few years on me, but probably not too many. I graduated in '85. I also LOVE Night Ranger and during the mid 80's, Randy Owen was going to be my future husband. :teeth: Boy, funny how tastes change, eh?

Conway Twitty and Randy Travis never did a thing for me. When I was REAL young, my mom would force us all to watch Hee Haw and that's the most I've ever seen of Conway Twitty. I believe that was before Randy Travis' day.

I don't think I'll be hopping on over to that thread and announcing that I plan to have my cat declawed on April 18th. :rotfl2:

In all honesty though, I've given this cat almost a year and to this day, everyone in our family is constantly bleeding with scratches all over their arms, hands, and even their face at times. Our poor dog is constantly scratched open in her mouth, but she wouldn't harm one hair on the cat to defend herself.

You went after their precious Baby Seals! What the heck were you thinking? Maybe they'd say, "Yes, SB, you seem to have a point there." That's like Joe showing up here and talking about everyone going to hell for even considering abortion. And they're lying in wait for you to come back, ready to pounce.

You really need to have lunch with a Busch Gardens person and find out if gorillas and dolphins have anything in common. I am totally curious about that now.

Probably not a good idea. :)

Has anyone reading this thread, changed their opinion about how they would react if their teen became pregnant? I have, I would be less encouraging of an abortion because the more I think about the more I would want the decision to hers and not something she felt she needed to do because I wanted it.

Honestly, I don't have a DD but if I did I would hope and pray that she would keep the baby. I would even raise it for her. I guess my view is skewed b/c I was a teen a parent (who went on to attain 2 bachelors degrees) and I look at my son now and thank the good lord I did not abort.

Don't get me wrong...I am pro-choice, just not for me. I would hope I could raise my daughter to not repeat my mistakes but if she did....I would do everything in my power to help her make a wonderful life for herself and the baby.
