What would you do - CRT, AP or non signature?

We originally made a dinner reservation for CRT, but I've read numerous horrible bad reviews, so I'm thinking that perhaps we should cancel it. My other options would be to swap it our for a ressie at Artist's Point or dinner at either Ohana or Tony's (we'll be at MK that day) and also do a breakfast on another day of our trip. Our group this trip is myself, DH, our 18 mo old daughter and a good friend of ours.

Opinions, please? What would you do?

I am kinda in the same situation, I think I would choose Ohana's or Tony's. We are staying at WL on the deluxe plan, and cant decide on some of the ones you mentioned. I am debating on Kona or Tonys. I think we are going to go to Tonys because of location.

If you are really interested in seeing Princesses or Cinderella, you could book a lunch/dinner at 1900 Park Fair (Cinderella, Prince Charming, Evil Stepsisters and Stepmother) or at Akershus in Noway in Epcot (rotating princesses). Your 18 mo DD might enjoy either of those. Since you'll be at MK, 1900 PF is at the Grand Floridian so it's a short monorail ride away.

Other options would be Crystal Palace, which is in the MK and has Pooh characters or Chef Mickeys at the Contemporary...your daughter would enjoy either of those. If you're opting for a more adult meal experience in the MK area, there are several 2 credit Signature places Cali Grill (you can see the fireworks), Narcoossees at the GF (also good view of fireworks), and Citricos at GF. Nice 1 credit places include The Wave at CR, Grand Floridian Cafe, and Kona Cafe at Poly. I've heard Ohanas is a good meal, but can be a bit rowdy so if you're looking for a relaxed meal that may not be it.

You have tons of options if you choose to change! IMO Cinderellas Castle is good to do once but it's not really worth the 2 credits. They'd be better used elsewhere, either signature dining or adding a 1 credit and adding a breakfast.

you don't go to the castle for the food - doubt the 18 month old would care if they ate at the castle - choose another place

I dont really like the food, I took DD 8 there a few tmes just for the experience, its a thrill for certain ages, and I suppose the thrill of getting the coveted ressie adds to the drama. I like the food at 1900 much better and CP is fun for little ones!

I just re read your post, your doing dinner? The food is a little better for dinner, again, maybe just for the experience you would go there.

CRT at this point. It sounds like you'll be going there in a few years with your daughter. (Recommend either breakfast or lunch if you do go) AP is nice, a bit more expensive and more time away from the park because of transportation. I would skip Tony's and go to Ohana, Kona or stay in MK and go to Crystal Palace. It's a buffet with a good selection of food. And the Pooh characters might work better with your daughter.

I liked the CRT not so much the food but getting to see inside. But I would go somewhere else. however the family wants to takemy niece their so I don't have a say! I would go somewhere else if you can.
Hallie
