So I am trying to pick a new restaurant for breakfast at 1 of the resorts for our departure day...even though it's not til 2017 I'm getting a head start on planning lol...anyways I think I have narrowed it down to these 4 places. Out of these 4 which would u choose and y?

Boma
Olivia's
The Wave
Whispering Canyon

I have heard a lot of people talk about these places so just trying to get an idea. We have been to whispering canyon for dinner before but it's very loud and my son on the spectrum had sensory issues with it so my question is, is the breakfast just as loud as the dinner or do u get the more quieter people that aren't awake yet? LoL. The other places we've never been but constantly here people on this board talking about them. So which would you choose?

I have only eaten breakfast at 2 of your 4 choices (Boma & WC) and I would vote Boma, no contest. It's the best breakfast buffet I've had on property.

We don't really do buffets because I'm a gastric patient and couldn't eat enough food to make it worth the cost even if my life depended on it; so my opinion is totally based on what I've read/seen here on the boards and also the experiences of my friends and family.

Boma seems to be a winner for pretty much everyone, and it would appeal to me because I've heard that they have some "African inspired" dishes in addition to the regular breakfast fare.

However, I have read incredible reviews about the Wave's breakfast buffet and how it is "a hidden secret" and not as many people know about it or frequent it the way they do Boma (supposedly). Knowing your sons sensory issues, I would probably choose the Wave. Good luck!! :o

Boma hands down was one of the best places we've been for breakfast. It's gorgeous, spacious, and the food is so delicious! We had a party of 8, and 3 people are seriously picky eaters. Not at Boma. :)

We really like The Wave, for the food quality and choices, and also because you have the option of ordering the buffet or a la carte off the menu. I am not a big breakfast eater so buffets are a waste for me. On the other hand, the rest of my family likes a big breakfast, so they can get the buffet.

Boma breakfast is on our must try list. I've heard so many good things about it; but if noise is an issue maybe Olivia's would be better.

Thanks for all the replies! Noise isn't that much of an issue, he's eaten at other buffets like Chef Mickeys and stuff that are very loud, but at Whispering it was very loud and a lot of things going on at once for him so it was a lot for him to handle, luckily they had lincoln logs so he was able to get away from all the chaos and just play. I just wasn't sure if the breakfast was as chaotic as the dinner was, lol. I think I am going to wind up picking Boma since I have heard so many awesome things about it and everyone seems to favor it. Does anyone know if thats 1 credit on the dining plan or 2?

For me it totally depends on 1) Where are you staying and 2)
How are you getting home - - flying or driving
Departure day can be time boxed. Once you know those two facts you can make a much more informed choice about what you have time to do

We will be staying at the Poly and we drive to Disney all the time so there is no rush in the morning, lol
