If you could what would you ask Santa Claus for? For me I would ask for time. Life is so busy with activities, school, work, cleaning, running, doing etc. that I would just love more time just to play. As much as we try to slow things down sometimes you just can't. Anyway, that is my most coveted Christmas gift. How about you?

A bit of land (maybe 15 acres) a few pigs, some chickens and a few goats. My idea of bliss.

i've said it before, but all i want is a job. a decent job. please santa, let me find one.

More time so I can slow down and not rush around all the time!

Or the braveness to just say NO and slow down my own life without Jolly St. Nick's help!

Oh, and maybe one of those popcorn tins that have 3 types of popcorn in it. Yeah.

A end to this god damn recession and austerity.

Was that really necessary :sad2: ? My heart and prayers to all those having difficulties in tough economic times, for I know the pain well. :grouphug:

I would ask Santa for world peace, the wars be over, so our son and thousands of others in harm's way could be home w/their families. :guilty:

My DD (9) put "love" on her list (twice)! Done and done!

DS (12) put "a pet monkey".....yeah - that's not going to happen although I may stick a stuffed one in his stocking.

No homeless people sleeping out on the streets in the frigid cold weather..

No adult or child having to go without food or health care..

World peace..

Improvement in the economy so people could at least hang on to their homes and have food on their tables..
----------

And if it had to be something only for "me", it would be a weight gain.. I really need to at least get up to 100 lbs.. But given the choice between what I would want for "me" - or having the above wishes granted for "others" - I would ask Santa to take care of the "others" first.. Lots and lots of people in need and harms way right now..:(

For my Fibromyalgia to go away so I would have more energy, patience, and ability to enjoy my DD8.

C.Ann, if i could, i'd donate about 40 pounds to your cause :) i'm not sure which is worse, needing to gain weight and not being able to, or being like me, and being able to gain weight just by breathing. i could watch you eat and gain 5 pounds.

Here's what I'd like for Christmas: Job satisfaction and a sense of meaningful achievement for my husband. (But if there's any kind of catch, then I'll be perfectly happy with just exactly what we've got now, thanks! :))

A job and to be able to finish school to get my degree. With money issues over the past few years it has taken longer than I expected.

I'd like DD #1 to be able to come home for Christmas. She's going to college out of state and works a retail job so she can't get the time off:sad:

:rotfl: Your son is my kind of kid!

I'd put an RV on my list. Right after world peace, the war on hunger, help for abused kids, and the economy.

I'd ask for this, but I know I'm not getting it.

so I'm asking Santa for a baby by next year!

A clean house. A really clean house. Every room clean at the same time, and for it to stay clean for more than 5 minutes! :rotfl2:

I feel your pain! I think I gain weight just thinking about food.
