What would the cost be to take a taxi to the beach from orlando?

We are flying with no transportation except the disney transportation. What would it cost to take a taxi to the closest beach from orlando. I am guessing it would cost alot but thought i would get your opinions

According to the airport authority, approximate cab fare to Port Canaveral is $105. Figure about the same to the beach.

Actually it's going to cost more than $105, because the closest public beach to Port Canaveral is another 5-10 miles south. And that's each way, before tip. I can't imagine it costing under $250 r/t for a day at the beach. As the others have said, rent a car.

And not sure when you were thinking about going, but it's a whopping 52 degrees here today...
