What would my kids enjoy at the parks?

Just wondering if my kids will have enough things to enjoy at the parks this year or if I should just wait a few years for Universal. Here's the rundown:

DS12..unless he has changed alot since the last WDW trip..does not like scary or rough rides whatsoever. At WDW in 2006, he barely rode anything. He would not even wear the 3D glasses at the 3D shows. I tried showing him some Uni rides and the only thing he let me think he would ride is the Jimmy Neutron thing!:confused3

DD9..this child does quite a few more things than her older brother, but not without alot of persuading..in 2006 her dad actually managed to get her(and me!) on TOT at WDW. I'm not sure she trusts him anymore!:rotfl: During the ride she and I basically squeezed each others hands off! When she got off she kind of had a glazed look about her..no crying or anything though! We bought her a TOT pencil and light up keychain. Til this day she still tells people.."When I was 6 I rode Tower of Terror"!:rotfl:

DS3...he was 18mo. old last time, so who knows..but so far..he is the daredevil of the family!:scared:

My fear is that dh will be riding big rides all day (he loves them..the wilder, the better...wants to take me to HHN some day..yeah right!) and I will be stuck with the kids who won't ride anything! One of my main reasons for going is that my kids LOVE the Nick characters and my DS3is also into superheros right now! We are decorating his room in spiderman as we speak! BUT..if they will only ride one or two rides it wouldn't be worth the money just to see the characters!
Please help and/or recommend some rides or attractions that you think my kids might enjoy! Thanks!!

I think you would find plenty to do. My son is special needs with seizure disorder also and I have to be careful ( had a brain anyurism in the past.)
Our son rode Shrek, Jimmy Neutron in stationary seating, Woody coaster, Spiderman, everything in Seuss landing, Posidon, Bilgerats, Barney, E.T, Twister, Disaster, Jaws, Animal planet show. He loved climbing in the Juassic Park area(stayed for hours) and loved the water and ball area by Curious George area. He loved the boat rides from the resorts to Citywalk also. We are headed back again in two weeks for his birthday!

All excellent recommendations and I'm sure the family will have a great time at Universal. :thumbsup2

I'm an adult and a huge ride chicken. Having said that, I rode everything in US and only skipped Hulk, Dueling Dragons, Dr. Doom and the teacup like thing next to Hulk (I can't take the spinning) in IOA. We spent 6-7 days between US/IOA last August and everyone had a great time. There were 9 of us ages 71 (my mom), me (45), DD (16), DS (14), Dsis (42), Dbil (50), DN (12), DN (9) and DN (3.5). There was plenty to do for all ages. With the age differences we did split up quite a bit and took turns taking my youngest niece and staying in the kiddie areas of the parks. Its been a year and she still keeps asking when we're going back to Florida as she had such a good time.
